Panasonic GX80 / GX85 - 5 axis stabilization with adapted lens

How are you getting 5 axis stabilization from an adapted lens? Only 3 is built in the body and the other 2 require a compatible Panasonic lens with OIS.

The amount of judder went walking over the bridge is really bad. Better off using a camera mounted on a gimbal or steadycam.

Is it important to get lenses that have the panasonic optic stabilization, or is that effect not that much more beyond the camera stabilization?

Will the stabilizer work with a focal reducer ?

Nice sweeps and pans but a bit too jarring in that walking sequence. Would a steady cam solve that?

Great video! For fun, I have a Fujian 25 mm cctv lens on my GX80. But I can't get the focus area magnified. Would you know which setting I need for that?

how does it work the cdaf on this camera (without vintage lenses)?

For some reason half of the videos on your channel will not play. The others work fine. No matter which resolution I choose to view in. If you use an adapted lens how do you set the in body stabilization to work the best?

Am I the only one who sees that the lens is out of focus most of the time? Not sure how to judge merits of IBIS with that..? :-/

what focal length would you input when using a focal reducer? the original one on the lens (28mm) or the reduced one(20mm) ?

Thank you Mathieu for this video. Panasonic' implementation of IBIS seems really effective for static as well as slow panning shots using adapted lenses.

Cool. I just finished setting up for tomorrow: Panasonic GX80 + Zhongyi Lens Turbo II EOS - M4/3 + K&F Concept C/Y - EOS + C/Y Zeiss Distagon 28mm f/2.8. Also bringing the Olympus 75mm f/1.8 along as well as the 12-32mm kit lens. Hoping to get some cool first results!

were you trying to be heavy on the feet during that walk over the bridge? This is all hand held?
