Why are you so hell bent on getting people to leave Adventism. One man's meat is another man's poison. No one is saved by being an 7th day Adventists. Its not by the name but by the fruit that the value of the tree is determined. I would have you know that justification is entirely of grace and not procured by any works man can do. True 7th day Adventists don't keep the Sabbath to be saved, but because they are saved, and they do so in response to a loving Father who invites us to celebrate it with Him, not for any other reason.

I appreciate the church for nuturing me to be a Christian but I left because keeping the law for so l did not receive Christ. After i left, i came to love Christ and accept him as my saviour. I always thought keeping the Sabbath will save me. Now i am free in Christ. Thank you for your program.

I love how every adventist video that comes up FAILS to show the "minuscule laws" that somehow represent if you're going to hell. There was only one reason why this poor younf man left the Seventh-day Adventist Church - he did not truly understand the Bible and thus the beliefs of the Church. Simple as that!

This poor young man made a lot of claims against the SDA beliefs without giving appropriate proof. Only the spiritually blind, the willfully ignorant, would believe the unfounded negativity he came out with.

I do not believe for one moment that at school they had to practice for the reason he gave. He needs to prove such assertions. I'm guessing he was raised in the USA, and maybe his school did some sort of drill in light of all the crazy mass shootings that occur in schools in that country. That would make far more sense.

For those not familiar with the question of the Sabbath and the seal of God, let me explain. In the Bible, the Sabbath is clearly about authority. As Creator of everything, God has laws for His kingdom and His subjects. And only the 4th commandment, which begins with the word “remember” lets us know whose law it is. He is Jehovah God, the Creator of the heavens, the earth, and all that is in them. His name, title and dominion are all contained in only one place in His law – the 4th commandment. And as Jehovah God, and Creator of all that is, He declared one day to be holy at its creation – the 7th day (Sabbath). Just as earthly monarchs and presidents have seals declaring their name, title and dominion, God’s seal is found in His law, in the 4th commandment. And while earthly kingdoms must change their seal when a monarch dies (as did England after Queen Elizabeth II died), God’s Name, title and dominion never change.
This is why satan, first through Constantine in 321 AD, and then officially through the catholic church, attempted to change God’s law, by saying that Sunday is now the day that people should keep holy. The problem is that God didn’t make the 1st day holy, and therefore Sunday, or any other day, cannot be the day bearing God’s authority. The catholic church has boldly claimed over the centuries that Sunday is the mark of their authority to change God’s law, and they taunt Protestants with the fact that in spite of claiming “sola Scriptura”, they acknowledge the papal authority by keeping Sunday, a day for which there is no scriptural authority – and they are correct. Here are just 2 of many, many quotes where catholics make this claim:

“The [Roman Catholic] Church changed the observance of the Sabbath to Sunday by right of the divine, infallible authority given to her by her founder, Jesus Christ. The Protestant claiming the Bible to be the only guide of faith, has no warrant for observing Sunday. In this matter the Seventh-day Adventist is the only consistent Protestant.” —The Catholic Universe Bulletin, August 14, 1942, p. 4.

“The observance of Sunday by Protestants is homage they pay, in spite of themselves, to the authority of the [Catholic] Church.” —Monsignor Louis Segur, ‘Plain Talk about the Protestantism of Today’, p. 213.

Even many protestant leaders acknowledge that there is no Biblical support for worshiping on Sunday, but they state that they choose to do it in honor of the resurrection. However, the Biblical symbol for honoring the resurrection is baptism – dying to the old man of sin, and being raised to new life in Christ Jesus.
Revelation 12:10-12, 17 state that after Jesus’ ascension to Heaven, satan was cast out, and Jesus has provided salvation, and power, and purchased for us the freedom to choose the authority (kingdom) of Jesus Christ. Little wonder that satan has come down to earth, filled with fury, making war against God’s people who have rejected satan’s authority, and who obey God’s commandments – showing that they choose His authority. (The law of satan’s kingdom is “do as thou wilt”, not what God wills for us.)
In 2 Corinthians 1:21, 22, it states that it is God “who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.” God seals His people with the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit is the agent by which God conforms His people into the likeness of Jesus. They become law-abiding citizens of His kingdom.
Ephesians 1:13, 14, adds, "In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory" Through the work of the Holy Spirit, God seals those who have trusted in Him for salvation, and the working of the Spirit is a guarantee of the hope that we have of inheriting a place in God’s kingdom, when Jesus comes again to “redeem His purchased possession(s).” Us!
Clearly, God’s Holy Spirit is the agent by which we are sealed, and have our hearts changed into the character likeness of Christ. As Ephesians 5 says, the Spirit uses the Word of God to wash us and cleanse us.
However, in these last days, God’s seal in the 4th commandment, and God’s sealing of His people by His Holy Spirit come together as the entire world must choose between God’s authority and man’s (satan’s) authority. And on each side that authority is about a day of worship. God’s seal, or mark of His authority is found in the 4th commandment, and Sunday is declared to be the mark of authority by the papal power.
God’s people in the last days are sealed BY the Holy Spirit, and the sign of that is the outward display of Christ-like characters and a keeping holy of the only day that God made holy – the 7th day Sabbath. These lines are clearly being drawn even at this point.

Although Ellen White called herself a messenger, not a prophet, God clearly showed her many things that were prophetic in nature.
When doctors of her day promoted smoking as a treatment for lung problems, in her book, The Ministry of Healing, p. 327-330, Ellen said it was harmful to smoke, or even be forced to breathe second-hand smoke. It wasn’t until decades later that “science” discovered otherwise.
Doctors of her day promoted blood-letting for several illnesses, and Ellen said that the life is in the blood, and it was a better practice to promote healthful living that creates better blood, and thereby, better health.
When Ellen was shown in the 1850’s that Jesus and the New Jerusalem will come through the “open space” in Orion at His 2nd coming, (Early Writings, p. 41) the astronomers of her day told her that she was crazy. Then, in 1941, Dr. Lucien Larkin of the Lick Observatory in CA focused in on Orion for many minutes, and discovered that it’s not only an open space, it’s one of the most beautiful nebulae – the Great Nebula in Orion.
When Ellen was shown that the Protestants of America would “reach their hands across the gulf and clasp hands with spiritualism and the papacy”, everyone told her she was clearly mistaken, because Protestant America would never let that happen! (One of many such statements may be found on pg. 588 of the Great Controversy) After all, America was founded because of people escaping religious persecution by the papacy in Europe!
Yet today, the Protestants of America are almost in a love affair with a Jesuit Pope. Unthinkable even 50 years ago, but 150 years ago, God showed Ellen that it would happen.

On many occasions Ellen was given visions from God that pertained to meetings being held several weeks or months in the future, and was asked to write down the vision and mail it to those it pertained to. When the letter arrived – just in time – the leaders in question realized that God had spoken through her, and given guidance that they needed at that very time.
While there are other examples that could be mentioned, the greatest evidence that Ellen was a messenger of God is that people are drawn closer to Christ and have a greater desire to understand the Bible, and follow God more closely. Even Vincent Ramik, the catholic copyright lawyer who investigated all the plagiarism and piracy claims against Ellen White back in 1980 said, “I believe that the critics have missed the boat badly by focusing upon Mrs. White’s writings, instead of focusing upon the messages in Mrs. White’s writings. Mrs. White moved me! In all candor, she moved me. I am a Roman Catholic; but, Catholic, Protestant, whatever—she moved me. And I think her writings should move anyone, unless he is permanently biased and is unswayable.”

Incidentally, Vincent Ramik’s conclusions can be summarized in the following 3 statements by Mr. Ramik:
"It is impossible to imagine that the intention of Ellen G. White, as reflected in her writings and the unquestionably prodigious efforts involved therein, was anything other than a sincerely motivated and unselfish effort to place the understandings of Biblical truths in a coherent form for all to see and comprehend. Most certainly, the nature and content of her writings had but one hope and intent, namely, the furthering of mankind’s understanding of the word of God."

“Considering all factors necessary in reaching a just conclusion on this issue, it is submitted that the writings of Ellen G. White were conclusively unplagiaristic.”

“If I had to be involved in such a legal case, I would much rather appear as defense counsel than for the prosecution. There simply is no case!
And as a final point about Ellen White’s role as a messenger, historically, if a prophet (or messenger) is truly of God, people will reject their writings. In fact, if people don’t speak against a prophet, it’s doubtful that they are of God. Isaiah, Jeremiah, John the Baptist, Jesus, and others, were all denounced and accused of being false prophets. Jesus was even accused of being inspired by satan!

Leave the SDA church alone. Go on with your life. If you disagree with the church's doctrines or leadership bc you're not happy with it or certain individuals, let GOD be the final Judge of that. We can judge the outward appearance but GOD looks on the heart of men. The more you focus on Adventism and their beliefs, the more you wander away from GOD. Focus on GOD, His WORD and keep praying for one another.

Let’s look at the claim that a belief in a “pre-advent investigative judgment” isn’t Biblical.
In order to do so, we need to start with the evidence that Jesus is now serving in Heaven as our High Priest. Hebrews 4:14-16 says, “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
On what basis can Jesus offer us mercy and grace? On the basis of His death in our behalf, which purchased our freedom from sin and satan. 1 Timothy 2:5,6 says it clearly - For, there is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time.”
Hebrews 8:5 Tells us that the earthly sanctuary was a pattern of the heavenly, and in Revelation 1:12-18 we see Jesus ministering in the Heavenly Sanctuary. (A side note - John says that he had this vision on the Lord’s Day, and in Mark 2:27,28 Jesus tells us clearly that the Sabbath is the Lord’s Day.)
In Revelation 22:12 Jesus says “Behold I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give to everyone according to his work.” In order to know who will be rewarded, just as in any earthly court of law, there must be a trial, an investigation before Jesus returns. In this way there must be a “pre-advent investigative judgment.”

I am not born Adventist. I am Catholic. But when I tried to ponder other religion like born again, Adventist, Babtist. I can absolutely say Adventist, is much closer in the Bible. That is why, I am Adventist now.

God's words will never be against with His words, it will always be aligned. Is just that people tend to make excuses just to fit the Bible of what they want rather than to fit themselves to the Bible. We need to ask God to enlighten us what His words really mean, what He really want to convey with His words.

Keeping the Sabbath (Saturday) doesn't make us save, it will not save us. Only JESUS can save us ( see.. John 14:6) and we all know that . We, Seventh Day Adventist keep it because of His grace 🤗

Hello everyone, I disagree with him about the truth. If you read in the Bible you'll find out many verses where God choosed a seal for christians , but the point is what is the everlasting seal says by God, in the Bible? This days people search verses which can support them to fulfill what they desire, truly you'll find out what you need, but salvation will stay far from you . I'm Adventist member, I like to use Bible many times than others books, but I accept the E.G.W prophecy. First of all understand the principles followed while accepting some one as a prophet for instance, in Jeremiah, there is some where God Gave him prophecy about what was going to happen to the king, and while the king received the writings, he torn it and burn it, do you care that that prophecy was was concerned with that period only? How many of that time believed in it? Of course are few, the word says that everytime God will be having witnesses. Other wise stop lieing people, the truth is written in the Bible not using our minds to understand what is nearly. Glory be God🙏

I don’t even know where to start. The advent is doctrine is 100% biblical and has nothing to do with Ellen G. white.

The second argument about God, being in one body doesn’t make any sense because if it did, how was it possible for Jesus to be here and God to be still in heaven?

Lastly, you used one verse to counter the Sabbath belief while there are literally over 20 verses in the Bible that support the Sabbath day in the old and New Testament. There are also versus stating that after Jesus returns we would still keep the Sabbath.

As far as the mark of the beast, the Adventist approach varies by individual based on interpretation of revelation prophecy. In revelation, it talks about the end of time being the hardest that mankind has ever seen.

You dropped some valid points about the denomination (i.e. SDA) in which I also grew up with but I like to think that there are other Christian denominations that are far more irrational when it comes to church doctrines.

] Stating as facts that the pope and America is the antichrist. When we make a wholehearted decision that something is fact, we limit ourselves to seeing any other possible outcome. We also get a fervor that can sidestep us from the main focus on Gods word.
- [ ] The 1000 years. When we focus on the word of God and emulate Jesus and his actions and words, I find that the Seventh Day Advent doctrine is full of red flags and seems false. Also the fact that a percentage of this doctrine actually comes from Ellen white and her visions, not wholly Biblically based.
- [ ] Ellen White, I have found that some treat her writings ALMOST equally with scripture, they quote chapter and verse and intermingle with sermons and studies. Even though she apparently warned about that.
- [ ] Handing out glossy high cost books on Ellen white and the great controversy instead of simply allowing the holy spirit to communicate with others in actions, words and guidance with scripture is not a safe path. Albeit some of these are excellent reading and can be enlightening, it is a crutch and possibly a stumbling block holding us back from actually evangelizing.
- [ ] Focus on diet too much and even giving sermons on how we shouldn’t eat meat and in the same sermon reading actual scripture that shows God providing meat to his people is confusing and can inspire doubt in fragile new believers. I do not see this as a deal breaker, just a slight issue. Anything that pulls our focus off growing closer with Christ and with others is a stumbling block.
- [ ] Praise in song, we need to spend more time praising God in song together as a church on the Holy Sabbath, it is biblical and God wants us doing this along with the angels in heaven.
- [ ] Conclusion, while some of these issues are not a deal breaker and can even be addressed and maybe corrected, other foundational fundamentals simply ring many warning bells, therefore I will continue my journey with Christ and listen to what the scripture and the Holy Spirit tells me and go through the doors God has opened. I love the people in the Seventh Day church and will always consider them brothers and sisters, and will pray for them and stay somewhat connected however, I must go wherever God sends me, if I do not and choose the comfort way, it is a sin.
HOWEVER: The Sabbath is the holy day and man has changed that, God never changed that.

Ok , wantbto talk on this subject of "could Jesus have sinned". I believe Christ is the second Adam, and so could have sinned , as in I think if He wasnt able to sin , then was it really worth tempting him? Like I believe the whole reason of temptation was like to get Him to sin , I mean he had emotions , feelings, sentiments , about everything human except the possibility to sin ? Doesnt that make it scripted ? Like if there's personal choice , freedom of choice and the Will exists , whats wrong with saying "Jesus could have sinned but He didnt" , like He intentionally chose to do His Fathers Will. I mean the Saviour Himself prayed that God should take away the cup of suffering, like there was a body prepared for Christ , How is that statement of Him neing able to sin wrong ?

I personally amend for seventh day adventists I have come closer to truth than I have ever before I grew up never going to church but I believed in God and he believed in me I was genuine and I picked up a Bible and haven’t stoped reading diligently seeking for truth he lead me through a series of different churches presbyterian Pentecostal Baptist but the seventh day Adventist church lest just say it took me a week before I believed in the teachings because I was so stuck in tradition I never questioned what doctrines I believed in but being apart of seventh day Adventist I have by God been taken to a closer relationship with Christ Amen

Christianity is Sun Worship, the first followers of Christ called themselves the way not Christians. Christianity is a man made name and religion just like Judaism.
