Pretty good adaptation, in my non-academic opinion. I’m sure you could find issues with it, like with any adaptations that has to shorten the material. But I feel like it’s treating the source material with respect and is earnest in its portrayal.

Mahabharata is a great piece of literature(with Historic value of the nature of society at that time)...and each time someone enacts it and renders it, it is bound to bring a different flavor. Even the ‘universal form’ that Krishna displays, before that he give Arjuna a divine sight for him to see and yet Krishna tells even with that Arjuna cannot see Krishna in his entirety ie after all how can we see Zero or Infinite... we can never see the entirety... This is a great piece of work by Peter Brook... I come and watch this often!
