MY GOSH!! I've come from tens of videos what why how and stuff about asynchronous Javascript, why use promise, and why are they using setTimeout for their examples. and Alas! This video of yours clarified what the heck is asynchronous programming, at the same time, why it's needed, and the use of setTimeout!! It was to emulate what the async JS does basically, then. Ahhh!!!
