I just realized this is the same fish in the good ending

You can actually survive being eaten, you have to use Manifest righty as he eats you (I recommend bouncing a charge on it until he starts to attack)

Does anyone know what will trigger this encounter elsewhere on the map? I'd have thought you'd need to be panicked, but I ran into it between The Marrows and Twisted Strand during the day after a full night's sleep.
