As a new player I am currently saving AD for souls shield. These astral for me are 85k from 100k I forgot to use my vip discount voucher so I don’t have vip at this moment. I’ve got just over 200k ad. And hoarding more to refining daily. This ends in 5 days. Is it better for me to keep gearing up? 5 days I could make 500k diamonds so I’d have around 700k if I don’t spend. So I would be able to only buy 8 boxes. Is that worth it for these bars, for companion/mount tokens? Decent I have swarm and angel for mount and companion. Thanks for this video I would not have known about it otherwise. 😌😌

Converting Epic Insignia to powder is a waste of Trade Bars to me.

You need 50 Epic Insignia to get enough powder to upgrade ONE Legendary to Mythic. You need only 10 Epic to upgrade an Epic.

Then you get a little more from Crits.

Companion Upgrade Tokens are usually around 8,000 AD each on AH. So they are geared to the AD cost of upgrading Epic to Mythic. That's 270 Tokens, x 8,000 AD = 2,160.000 AD (120 Epic to Legendary, 150 Legendary to Mythic).

Upgrading with AD alone would cost 1,000,000 AD from Epic to Legendary and 1,500,000 from Legendary to Mythic (2,500,000).

But for Common to Uncommon to Rare to Epic, it costs 30, 60, 90 Companion Upgrade Tokens, or 50,000, 250,000 and 500,000 AD if you use AD directly, or 240,000, 480,000 and 720,000 AD if you buy Upgrade Tokens from AH. Cheaper to use AD directly at those qualities.

BUT
if you get 40 Trade Bars per lockbox, that is 20 tokens for 60,000 AD, or 3,000 AD per token.

So the costs are:

30 = 90,000 AD - still cheaper to pay 50k AD to make a Common Uncommon,
60 = 180,000 AD - already cheaper to use tokens from Trade Bars to make an Uncommon Rare
90 = 270,000
120 = 360,000
150 = 450,000

Of course, we cannot sell Companion Upgrade tokens we buy with Trade Bars, only those that come as packs of 10 from normal lock boxes. So using Trade Bars to get tokens is by far the cheapest when upgrading Green companions or higher.

I sell all my upgrade token packs I get from normal lock boxes, Mount and Companion, and buy at least 4500 Companion Upgrade tokens with Trade Bars. That's enough to upgrade 10 Green companions to Mythic.

3 mil for mythic insignia on pc? Wow. PS averages between 1 and 1.6 depending on the insignia, with epic and legendary prices absolutely not matching lol. 35-40k for epic and legendary 180-250k.

what a shame that i dont have much zen or ad rn. at least i got a couple thousand tradebars so i will stock up on upgrade token to upgrade mounts and companions once i got some worthy ones..
btw the info box for wondrous bazaar says there is a lockbox that doesnt need a key to open, is this the astral lockbox or do they need keys to open?

Torn between Lockboxes or Ebon lizzard from AH, on one hand lockboxes could make profit.. but Lizzard is at least not a gamble :/

On ps4 seems like astralbox didn't got his upgrade :(
