Brividi tremendi....

Mozart était un admirateur de Paisiello (il l'a rencontré plusieurs fois à Vienne) et je reste convaincu que la cavatine de ses "Noces de Figaro" (Voi che sapete) chanté par "Chérubin" est - presque - un copié-collé de la présente cavatine,

aria/sérénade à la mandoline du "Barbier de Séville" du Tarentin Paisiello (mais Napolitain que pour raisons professionnelles 😉), son chef-d'œuvre composé lors de son séjour russe de 8 ans à la cour de Catherine II.

À noter que Kubrick n'a retenu qu'une transcription instrumentale pour violoncelle et mandolines réalisée pour le film et encore plus belle (pour moi) 😊😮

Purtroppo, viviamo in un epoca in cui non si ha si ha idea di cosa siano le opere, che nulla hanno in comune con le effimere maneskinate degli onnubilati sbullonati.

Aldilà di ciò che si esalta nell'opera , si può condividere la straordinaria bella voce che è tipica del bel canto.

The colors, the lighting, the composition, the atmosphere - just superb, typical Kubrick. I have never seen better footage of any kind - or stills, for that matter.

All honour, praise, and glory to the production team for selecting Marisa Berenson for this crucial role. Her performance(and her beauty) give a vital credibility to the delicately poised presentation of each scene in which she she appears, and to have her stricken expression in full focus at the conclusion of the film is quite simply a stroke of genius.
