Sir right now I am losing my passion. I’m already at my final year of studying Architecture but not really great on it. I feel like I wasted much time. I’m having a lot of doubts about me if my skill is enough to pursue this career. I just want to live and earn enough money to live. Should I still continue this course? I feel like after graduating, I want to try doing other business instead. Plus I’m not a great speaker and not a communicator. I noticed that I am an introvert and dealing with clients and expressing my thoughts can put a hard time for me. Anyone here who has an experience can tell me what it feels like after graduating. Is it rewarding? I have many questionss. 😢

Ok so Dr and lawyers work way more than any architect so they deserve more pay that's fine with me. Next of course you work under other people for the first while. Especially until you get fully certified and tested. That is how all jobs work

Bruh it was never about the money it's not st I lived in like 5 houses in ga and every single one had some type of bad design that ruins something else in the house like how doors and walls are placed I was at a house where the fridge was alr in the house in its spot and the wall was block you from opening the freezer because it was a two door side by side fridge n it sucked squeezin in to get shi but look besides det other houses had some type of design that ruined it like bathroom placement it's all a mess

1. It’s a 4 year degree then comes the certification which takes a few more years while you work.
2. Not as good as doctor or lawyer but it’s a good living. After you earn you license, the sky is the limit if you are good at getting clients.
3. Like every other worthwhile profession, its called paying your dues.

Edit: It is a 4-year degree in my state. Some states, it’s 5 years. Contact your state’s professions office to verify.

I don’t want to build houses, buildings, apartments, stuff like that. I’m more interested in building smaller things, like a canopy for the backyard. What this called? Like are you an architecture person or is it called something different?

I do really love architecture ...but studying day and night for 7 years ...not only that getting professors rejection and then after graduation clients rejection...with a low payment...is it really worth it? In the name of love for architecture should i be really willing to sacrifice everything..

the thought that this man already had a license as an architect, as an architect instead of discouraging others to study architecture, maybe giving them a piece of advice and encouraging them to move forward as an architect. I have the thought that you are discouraging future architectures probably because you don't want other or newly professional architectures to come ahead of you.

if youre in it for the money…. then pls f*ck off. our built environment is what shapes our world and our lives, its bigger than any one individual, and if you approach it from that mindset them you arent meant for it. the reason TO DO IT is bc you love and and care about it, bc design is your passion, bc you want to uplift communities and create spaces that will mean so much to generations
