Well explained.. brilliant..
ОтветитьGood content and really kind of you to share the process.
ОтветитьHey, class video! Could you share more information about the process of picking the car up from port? I'm in the process of importing a BMW which is expected this February. What information/documents do I need to bring (I know I'll need the bill of lading). Is there anything my transport guy needs to know?
Cheers!
Great video 👌🏽
ОтветитьWonderful video. I appreciate the effort put into it.
Thanks!!
Spon on, exactly what I was looking for. Many thanks
ОтветитьWell done very useful information top thanks
ОтветитьThorough explanation of the process and easy to follow. Thanks a lot🍻
ОтветитьExcellent video, thankyou for explaining in laymans terms the steps for dealing with Japan.. Gives me more confidence to get my Audi S3..
ОтветитьFirstly, thank you so much for this video, finally got some guidance to go ahead!I am looking to import a Lan Cruiser/Lexus 10+years old (as you suggested), how can I check if the car will be ULEZ compliant in the UK please?
ОтветитьSir what if the cost of car is japan is 1200£ what will be the total of car in uk with everything
ОтветитьSuper helpful! Can't thank you enough mate!
ОтветитьVery helpful and informative, keep up the good work
ОтветитьVery good and informative video, but ultimately buying a car from abroad to the uk is almost pointless with all the expenses the uk has 😏
ОтветитьHey Benjy, awesome vid! super helpful. I missed about IVA exemption for 10+yrs old so thats a cost I can wipe off :) Just 1 thing on the costs, isn't custom duty for a japanese manufactured car meant to be 5%, and import duty/vat locked to 20%? Just a bit weird that it was extra. Thanks so much though was so cool to see someone go through the process. I have my evo from japan but I bought it already in UK, next car I want to import so very helpful :)
ОтветитьCan you request further pictures of cars on this website? I see a lot of them don’t come with any underside pics and would just give you piece of mind seeing before you buy haha.
ОтветитьI've wanted to import a car from japan for so long but never knew how to go about it. thank you very much sir.
ОтветитьHey Ben thanks for the wonderful video explains almost everything
Just wanted to know whom to mark consignee for 3 of my cars arriving in UK from Japan for 2 of my brother living in UK and which clearing agency should I hire for port duty and clearance charges
Thanks
Brilliant video pal.
ОтветитьMany thanks for the great work you have done! you opened my eyes for a lot of things which i was looking for :) . I have checked the same website you bought your car and i saw some updated regarding the price, they show the price of the car and underneath it show the total price. wonder is the total price including everything shipment and tax to the port in UK ?
ОтветитьYou did brilliant job mate, best guide I’ve seen or read
ОтветитьDid the NSA provide the NOVA certificate or did you have to speak to HMRC regarding that?
ОтветитьFinally an how-to video, but adding three grand to a 5 grand car is pretty steep.
ОтветитьWhys it called sbi africa?
ОтветитьProbably the best video to watch if you want to import a car from Japan. Well done :-)
ОтветитьTried SBT - they only take USD
ОтветитьWhat are NSA ? Is this company providing service of custom clearance and telling HMRC I means dealing with HMRC ?
ОтветитьGreat video mate, very helpful indeed
ОтветитьLovely
Ответитьhi, mate.
just a question, after making some research about duty and tax. i found that the first one is 10% (cost+shipping) and 20% is tax (cost+shipping+duty)
why your ones are differ, I will appreciate your answer.
After watching dozens of ‘explanation’ videos finally a video that actually explains and takes you through the process. Thank you!
ОтветитьYour explanation was very clear and precise I have one question though how long before you can drive your car once you’ve done the MOT
ОтветитьShitting my self thinking I am going get ripped off help
ОтветитьFantastic, thank you especially for the graphics with the documents. Wonder if the insurance is significantly more for an imported car.
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьIts a great video. I have few questions about the clearance.
1) After they exported the car from japan how to do the clearance?
2) Do we need to find an agent for this to clear?
3) I totally didn't understand the part of how you got the email from NSA UK? Can you explain me please?
Great video, thank you much. as you mentioned, could you please share some more website to buy these cars.
Ответитьthank you for the video! its been very useful, cant wait to import my own car soon
ОтветитьThanks for the great vedio. I shortlisted a couple of vehicles on beforward however before moving forward i checked reviews on trustpilot and the reviews are horrible. I mean 90% of buyers are crying. And the same is with sbtjapan.
ОтветитьThanks a lot. It helped me a lot. I was browsing SBI but the cars were so cheap I was worried it was a scam. Thanks for the process. I'll have one imported to the Netherlands. Subbed!
ОтветитьGreat video! Quick question did you use a customs clearing company? And you contact NSA yourself or did they reach out to you?
ОтветитьGreat video, very helpful. Is there any issue with 1) MOT speedometer being in KMH? 2) filling in V55/5 mileage having to convert to Miles?
ОтветитьIn theory, when you collected your vehicle from the port, couldn't you place number plates on it from an existing registered vehicle , so as to drive it home without issue.
ОтветитьI enjoyed that.
ОтветитьGood video, thx for this video. I try buy car from Japan send to ireland.
ОтветитьSuch a legend ❤ subscribed, liked and commented
ОтветитьHey mate, awesome video! I am trying to ship a 2014 Toyota Landcruiser 76 wagon, are there any restrictions that I need to be aware of? Can I even import something like this to the UK? Thanks a lot!
ОтветитьKeeping it real poverty to millionaire
ОтветитьMan you did really good job, very detailed explanation of full process. Thank you !
ОтветитьGood video, thanks. Few questions I have, who deals with things like Speedo changes from Km to miles? I’m looking at say a 2011-15 car, that have say digital odo meter, gauges in KM. Does someone have to get into the gauges and change? Are things like the rear fog light just a 3rd party item bolted to your bumper, or do they wire up the rear lights for fog?
