Richard Pryor was the funniest man to have ever existed

Hired this from Blockbusters in 1982 and played it seven times over the course of one weekend on our brand new VHS machine (with the remote attached by a wire). Pretty much knew every line - my all time favourite film. This is how it's done. RIP Richard and Gene.

2 comedy geniuses

Anyone not seen the movie Silver Streak, with both these greats I highly recommend it. Especially the scene where Pryor rubs boot polish on wilder to make him look like a black man ,because the authorities were looking for a white male and a black male. Both were legends.

Pryor and Wilder... comedy gold for more than 40 years. saw this in the theaters back in 1980 and have watched this movie I guess 100 times at this point, and that look of sheer terror on Pryor's face in the cell when they pan the camera over to him still puts tears in my eyes. 😂

Still one of the funniest and best movies ever.

Two of the funniest comedians of all time. Best comedy duo of all time. Sorry Bing and Bob. Sorry Laural and Hardy. Y'all were great, classic. But these two are on another level.

The jail cell scene has got to be the funniest scene ever in comedy movie History. Gene was even breaking character, smiling, but it didn't matter, I guess as long as he didn't start laughing.There are tears rolling down my face watching that hilarious scene. My God Richard Pryor is so funny.
