ОтветитьThis was the review I was looking for, the internals, and extras that we as builders know all to well, rev limiting coil, and non billet flywheel. Someone posted a video that he already floated the valves. All that money and hype, is not worth the extra. Your video answered so many questions, it crazy. ОтветитьNew to the channel, but I have to agree. That doesn't look like much at all. $149?-now for a regular 212 w/o a coupon. You can build it yourself with a billet rod and flywheel for the cost of the ghost+accessory kit.

ОтветитьSo is the ghost have a standard hemi predator 212 crank profile for a flywheel or does it have the Honda/clone profile? Strange they left the governor sprocket on the crank.
Ответитьmight as well knock the gov drive gear off the crankshaft as it is no longer needed... give it to the little woman, they love shiny things. be sure to stand out of striking distance... and SMILE SMILE SMILE when u give the bling to the little woman ;)

Ответитьeveryone throws the "Clone" word around too much like EVERYONE KNOWS what a "clone" is... . when we dont. they are ALL CLONES OF THE HONDA 196/200... need to use the word HEMI or NON HEMI as the Predator is the standard now... so the only choices is HEMI or NON hemi... as they are all clones so that means nothing, but it is a knock off of HONDA 200. the cam journal on the HEMI is one size... the cam journal on the NON hemi is slightly different as is the flywheel taper. therefore a person needs to use HEMI or NON hemi in the description... not "clone" as they are all clones of HONDA

ОтветитьI'm still so confused about the crank. It's supposed to be heat treated, but why if there's no mechanical governor put the gear on the crank? I don't see the extra money
ОтветитьThis engine sounds like it’s going to be designed strictly for a new Go-Kart race class. The $300 price tag isn’t worth it at this point. I would rather get a predator 224 for $110 less and throw a Cam/mikuni on it with Governor delete
ОтветитьYeah there's nothing impressive. It may attract some who want a bolt on and ride engine even though there are better bolt on and ride engine options. A lot of guys don't want to work on these. The extra $150 may be worth it to them with the governor gone and a Mikuni style carb already installed.
And they may be attempting to get a new go kart racing ghost class.
This ghost I think is great for someone racing and needs a box stock motor like right now but for my mini bikes I'll stick to the 212s and 224s.

ОтветитьDang you got the ghost already. Just a regular predator engine with a ducar head. I like the 6000 rpm limit but thats about all. I’ll stick to my wildcat but nice video man!
