This kid is cool in concept but flawed in practice. In concept this is such a cool idea with evolving focus trees and branching paths and all that but in practice it’s all so rail roaded that it just becomes boring and tedious.

I think the idea of this mod is to play it over the period of multiple days

They've been working on this mod since the game released, By the time finished and fully playable I'll have arthritis and wont be able to play. They should cut it down to the 1980's-2000s, a little more realistic.

I like the way this game shows the population size of your state.

Well if the mod's focus is historical, then it makes sense for there to be no real wars in Europe in the 19th century because there wasn't any really. The game starts in 1857, which is just after the Crimean War. The Crimean War and the Hundred Days war against Napoleon were the only real wars between major powers. The unification of Prussia and the Germanic states into Germany was the last major conflict at all until World War 1, which if you remember was caused by all of those friendship treaties and alliances that are in the focus tree.

The mod should let you skip time periods where nothing happens and automatically complete focuses/research for you during the time skip
