Such a good story. Unfortunately, introducing this to the west, there will be talks of Makoto being a transgender girl.

I've seen some reviews talk about how they didn't "flesh out" Makoto's supposed "dysphoria" and that it didn't make sense when he just wanted to be a boy in the end. The whole theme is that he's a boy who likes cute things and likes girl's clothes more than boy's, so it just feels like they are reinforcing gender stereotypes...

In the west, we talk so much about diversity and inclusion, but are completely ignorant when a feminine boy wants to stay as a boy.

When the anime comes out, I fear this would instantly be the favored prediction for Makoto's character to be a transgender woman, with those that have not read the webtoon...

Amazing manga, and incredible art... but there are a couple glaring flaws I hope the anime addresses...

I found Makoto's development to be quite a bit rushed, specially when it came to his feelings about Aoi. He went from not feeling much romantic attraction towards her for the majority of the manga to feeling just that by the end with only some minor foreshadowing that felt out of place.

It felt as though Makoto only ended up with Aoi because that was the manga's premise, not because he actually felt that way. I actually wouldn't have minded them just ending up as friends. It would be a bit sad, but would ultimately have been a more fitting ending with how the story progressed.

I also really liked Aoi's story but, like before, her feelings towards Makoto developed unnaturally fast, though not as much as Makoto's did. She went from loving him, to not, to loving him again in not a very short time period (though you could argue she never stopped liking Makoto in the first place, that she just thought she did)

The manga delivered quite well on its central theme of self-happiness vs responsibility though I feel.

I love this. I cried a lot while reading the manga.

I saw a comment on webtoon where i read it was getting an anime. Woah,this sounds good.
