Good kid, can't believe his parents would be ok with allowing their children to live like that in the DR. Such a shame.
ОтветитьHis apartment looks nice
ОтветитьCaleb is there anyway of getting in touch with the awesome human being you were talking with?
ОтветитьNo one should be allowed to live in the projects paying $25 a month. If a person cant come up with at least $250 a month they are not trying to earn a living or they have a drug habit.
ОтветитьI love his mindset!!! I wish him the best
ОтветитьThis dude has amazing energy. Very uplifting to watch....
ОтветитьRent is 30% of Gross income in subsidized housing nationwide (if utilities not included it’s a little less). I read about family who had been living in NYCHA projects decades in really good area/location in manhattan. The household income was like 300-200K annually & their rent was around $5000-7000 but still a good deal. They had 3-4 bedroom apt & mist utilities are included. PLUS SECURITY- if one person or everyone were to loose their jobs the rent would just get adjusted based on new income & when they retire & income goes down so does rent
ОтветитьDoes anyone know which project is this?
ОтветитьSign me up 😂
ОтветитьThe projects back in the 1940's had 21requirement to get accepted. Today anyoe can get in. The problem with the projects is there should be a minimum of salary to get approved to live there. Some healthy people dont want to bother getting a job. No one should be allowed in with a felony conviction. If you are a tenant and commit crime and convicted you should be evicted and never allowed in again.
ОтветитьSuch a nice young man. I wish you the best.
ОтветитьPerception. Be apprecative. "turning what you have into what you need." What a wise, intelligent, likeable dude. This kid reminded me of the attitude i used to have towards life.
ОтветитьI love his postive mindset
ОтветитьA wonderful cat of a good man. Go for your dream bro!
Ответитьshot in the building is crzyyyy

Ответить5 minutes from were i live there been murders i from bendigo in victoria dnt matter were u are
ОтветитьI wish my bedroom was that big
ОтветитьTotal BS. I grew up in the projects and there is no excuse to be violent and felonious robbing and beating up people. Everyone has adversity and problems in their lives and they dont go around thugging.
ОтветитьWhat hood is that ?
ОтветитьThank you. ❤
ОтветитьLived in the projects all my life never ever heard anyone paying 25 dollars a month, never saw any Dominicans either for that matter not on the lower west side.
ОтветитьI loved growing up in Pomonok Houses in Flushing. 1951-1972. ( 3 yrs old - 21) .
ОтветитьFor $25 a month, it doesn’t look bad, but it doesn’t seem like a safe place to live…
Ответитьvery insightful!
ОтветитьI’m 18 years old,can I apply to live in these?
ОтветитьThat’s a HUGE apartment Clean and stylish too! Take care of your mama❤ God bless!

ОтветитьI love NYC housing projects!
ОтветитьHe said you gotta ignore crime, that is the problem smh
ОтветитьMany so called celebrities lived in these same buildings and conditions they no different then them.
ОтветитьI left Dyckman in 1962. We lived in a "C" apartment, 3 bedrooms. Your apartment's layout looked extremely familiar to me. Although I'm not surprised, it's still strange to see all the fencing and barriers. I used to go in and out of the building freely by myself at age 7; it was safe. I wasn't aware of it at the time but there weren't many black people at Dyckman, and if they were Catholic our parents all knew each other. My best friends were twins of the Irish persuasion who lived in my building (do they still call it Building 3?) who were in my class at St. Jude's.
ОтветитьHe shows true intelligence, I hope the best for him and his family. You can tell how proud he is of his mother 🥹
Ответитьэто отличное приложение, и оно мне нравится

Ответить"Perception is Power"
This dude is built from 100% REAL TALK
God bless him. And his Mom.
ОтветитьIt's all about your background. If your parents were raised wrong or had traumatic experiences. Resulting in your bad upbringing. It's very easy to get lost.. its not always what you want out of your life. Sometimes you just play the hand your dealt.
ОтветитьI lived in the project's, i didnt have much but i was happy
ОтветитьThis person is amazing
