Love this bike! Where did you get the wheels and tyres from?

This bike is sickkkk as we say in England! I’m looking at buying an iron 883 or the 48 and would love to completely take the back fender off just like this bike but this is the kicker, I’m completely new to biking and it’s going to be my first bike, after reading comments some people are saying it’s really dangerous but I do love the look. Not sure what to do now 😂

saw this video a ways back and knew i wanted something similar, but have always wanted a motorcycle. bought a '11 48 1200 and have done some things to it that made me think of this video today. and i think that it has almost come full circle. i appreciate these videos.

Congrats to the winner. I would have put a rear fender on it, but that's not a difficult addition for the next owner if he or she chooses to do so.

My Dutch motorcycle instructor is completely motorcycle crazy, but told me on principle not to greet motorcycle riders who are not wearing proper protective clothing. He wouldn't greet you. And I understand him.

Is it true the back wheel tends to jump sideways on bumpy corners ? i hear some folk with rigid frames run the rear tyre a little softer to counter that and to add a little more comfort too. 🏍

From what I’ve seen the difference between a bobber and a chopper are rear fender, fork length and front tire size.

Beautiful bike, but I'm quite a traditionalist when it comes to bobbers. To me a true bobber is stripped down and modified to increase its speed and performance. The goal is to remove any unnecessary weight by removing parts that don't contribute to the bike's performance. So those handlebars to me should be short and not sitting so high. But that's me.

Now that I have some idea of what a bobber is, have to ask Why? Just why … Why would someone wreck a bike and make it so unsafe and uncomfortable? And then have gall to ask extra price for such a pos. 🤷‍♂️

A bobber does not need to have a hardtail. Historically they were because motorcycles at the time typically were. I would never replace suspension with a stiff rod, that's just silly imo.

I love the look but one thing I want to keep is the suspension on the bike. My state has such bad roads King of the hill made fun of us, a lot of why I love the Fatboy wide wheels. It's that still bobber or just aesthetic?
