those companies should be fined.
ОтветитьREAL ULTRAFIRE batteries are only 3000mah and only sell on Amazon through it's company
ОтветитьThese battery SCAM should be banned from the market altogether and the company selling them losing their trading licences on the spot and a $100,000 fine.
ОтветитьTo test capacity you need to discharge the battery do depletion after fully charged, am I wrong?
ОтветитьI honestly just bought them for the charger. Kinda got the batteries free with it. After watching reviews I wish I didn’t skimp so bad.
ОтветитьI can't in the life of me figure out why Ultrafire is still the biggest torch and battery seller...
ОтветитьThank you my friend we know that anything comes from china is a shit
ОтветитьAre you doing a video or looking at your iPad
ОтветитьDoes anyone happen to know the amps on these batteries? particularly the 4200mAh batteries?
ОтветитьWhat charger are you using to charge the 18650 battery?
ОтветитьThey can write any capacity you want on them. I got a couple of 3800mAh batteries but in reality they've been measured 380mAh
Ответитьevery fucking 18650 battery on eBay and Amazon or other places are fake.
ОтветитьChina Scammer!
ОтветитьTotally unscientific !
Startng witk 4.15v, either it means the battery was not fully charged, or that there is a protection inside that "eats" .10/.15v ...
To prove anything, you should have made a "calibration" first, with a "guaranteed" battery for example, showing the result of your experiment is corroborated
The flashing flasher is just comical, since it is the same crap as the battery ..
I hope that you reported them as not described, and got your money back, otherwise you're helping China buy the west...
ОтветитьWhew.. I live in China and had these exact batteries in my hand tonight. I nearly purchased them, but living in China I thought it best to come home and do some research first. Thanks for posting this video.
ОтветитьAlmost 2 years you made this video (great by the way) and the problem with these is worse than ever. I just done a video on the alledged (with lols) 4200mAh ones. Utter pieces of crap. One person left a comment on my video - positive - but mentioning that it is however old news... yeah it is - but look at the sales on eBay, people are still being suckered, so we all need to keep shouting! A friend sent me a picture of his uncles vape mod just last week. Was screwing up - had these in!!! The guy just didn't know better. Anyway, sorry for huge comment - subscribed!
Ответитьthese work ok in led flashlights. for 2 dollars including free shipping from china they are acceptable.
Ответитьyep, China garbage batery.....
Ответитьbuy one genuine battery like Samsung Panasonic Sanyo LG. You will save money, save space and gonna get more capacity (mah) instead 4 of these. Also the weight most of the time tells its quality it should weight about 50 grams. Those you tested is like 20g each
Ответитьhi, can you tell me how you discharged them fully? does that charger have that ability?
Ответитьwhat a misery..shit
Ответитьi agree with @Mile Jukic, you are wrong bro.
it is a charging current, not a capacity of the battery.
where do you get a charger like that?
ОтветитьBuddy you got it all wrong. What you can see on the charger is charging current.
Capacity of the battery is measured in miliAmpere hours, not mA per hour.
You put load to battery, let's say 1A and measure the time until it's empty, or almost empty ;)
Just for the record, those UltraFire are about 1500 mAh, which is not bad. I just bought some from China declared as 9800 mAh, but I'll be happy if it's gonna be 1000 :)
Very useful information I don't trust these batteries from the start but can u tell us how to test the amps of any 18650 batteries ? Thanks
ОтветитьThank you very much I just placed order for one
Ответитьwhere can I buy the capacity tester
ОтветитьА вы что думали реально за такие деньги будет 3000Ah? Наивные чукотские юноши. Нужно брать: LG, Samsung,Sanyo,Panasonic.
ОтветитьI don't use them. I guess you could but I would worry about them being unsafe, you can get a decent 18650 for less than 10$.
Ответитьwell are they at least decent for a flashlight???
Ответитьi bought a kangertech subox mini clone that came with a ultrafire battery, and the battery says 4200mah xD, and with luck work for an hour, so yeah the market is full of this cheap fake batteries
Ответитьevery battery named somehow "ultra" or "fire" are busted from my interest, since a while now. i made the same experiece.
ОтветитьSo, your vid did not answer for me. 541 mili amps hours is that 99% of 50% of 20% of what should be or what? You just said I won't buy these again. Why?
ОтветитьHow much did your discharger drain out of the battery? To what voltage per cell did you discharge the battery? A proper discharger is the only thing that will give you any kind of accurate measurement of the battery capacity, it will drain each cell down to the minimum safe voltage and tell you exactly how many mah it took out of the battery. Your test suggests they have poor capacity but doesn't really prove anything.
ОтветитьWhen looking for batteries always type in "real capacity" in your ebay search or "guaranteed capacity" to insure you're buying from a seller who understands what's going on out there and wont screw you over. Keep in mind the real capacity batteries cost a lot more but quality always does.
ОтветитьThank you very much I always knew they full Bull on mah but I didnt think by that much you saved me alot of time . Now we need to find the best bettery in terms of capacity L.A.
ОтветитьReal ist weight over 45g another ist a Fake
Ответитьwere can i get the charger you are using
ОтветитьNice
Very interesting video. I was thinking about moving to 18650 batteries for my next flashlight purchase... I now know which batteries to avoid!
ОтветитьVery good information
ОтветитьYeah I got one of these junk batteries with a cheapo flashlight I ordered just to test out.
They truly are crap. Good that you make these videos, hopefully it will save somebody from buying any.
Yes sir I'll put those batteries on my do not buy list. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьGood work exposing these terrible batteries for what they really are. I think it's safe to say Ultrafire is the Gerber of batteries, hopefully you saved a space on the Shelf of Shame so they can sit side-by-side.
