FFS. Why don’t they use easy start for the old engines ?
ОтветитьKocham to
ОтветитьStupid sound you mean
ОтветитьJ’ai adoré travailler sur les chenilles marines pendant de nombreuses années, ma préoccupation était le moteur électronique où j’avais plus de problèmes à cause de... Électronique !
ОтветитьDude you don't even know how to f**** start a😢
ОтветитьThey have some great batteries.
Ответитьsound like no more pressure
Ответитьเสื้อเหลือง THAl
ОтветитьThey are hard to start, but once they get that first off they will run all day with no issue and can be shut down and restarted over and over
ОтветитьThese engines were absolute garbage in a locomotive application. Gutless, ornery, high maintenance shop queens. Guaranteed two weeks or more in the repair track after being beat on. Every one I ever ran was disappointing. Worn out EMD could run circles around one of these. If it was a leased unit, our motto was "burn it down and send it back" 🤣
ОтветитьIn childhood I always thought that caterpillar products use electric motors that powered by something like fuel pills I don't know why?
ОтветитьVery big machine
Ответить🙂👍🇵🇹
Ответить3208. Best starting engine in our fleet. On the coldest of days that thing pops right off.
ОтветитьI made a career out of working on EMD Locomotives, and when Cat bought EMD, our quality went to hell
ОтветитьI only lasted 1.5 minutes, could not take all that cranking with no start, not good.
ОтветитьI'll take the KT Cummings over any cat
ОтветитьShe’s tired ,
ОтветитьAnd today we are going to learn about hearing protection......
........ha? ...say what?...
C15??? C18??? C27???
ОтветитьHow dare you ? I love it
ОтветитьSaw some huge cat engines working in Louisiana in the oilfield industry and overhauled some smaller ones loaders 4 & 6 cylinders tough as nails
Ответитьnothing beats a 3512 powered frac pump coming alive in 0 degree weather as far as cat engines go
ОтветитьI have no clue why Cat would stay in Illinois and be taxed to death...
ОтветитьMy family has been building Caterpillar Equipment since the company was established. I am probably the only one in the family that has not worked for them.
ОтветитьTheir work boots are overrated and overpriced. Made in China crap
ОтветитьYou think they are bad boys.Just watch an English Electric class 37 engine start from cold. You want smoke......You got it and flames for fun.
ОтветитьHunk and the yellow 💛 lion of Voltron!
ОтветитьCAT DIESEL POWER 👍
ОтветитьI am not familiar with the quality of cat engines, but if you look at the first two engines, it seems tha CAT makes very high quality starters :)
ОтветитьI guess Cats are the diesel equivalent to the McCullough chain saw? Can't start 'em, but once they go its fine? Ever see a chainsaw murderer use a McCullough? Nope.
ОтветитьWhen you start them cold and you listen to them for a while as they warm up you can hear them tighten up. At the end of the day you let them idol for 15 minutes before you shut them off and you can hear the sound of the motor change. You can get very attached to a caterpillar.
It goes way past customer loyalty.
why am I so obsessed with those engines? Am I sick?
ОтветитьThat 2nd guy burned the starter up almost
ОтветитьCaterpillars contribution to global warming
ОтветитьA bunch of cold blooded cat engines starting they never start good unless it’s 100 degrees outside
Ответитьthose newer engines are so much cleaner on start up.some of the old ones, you need a gas mask by the time their firing on all the cylinders.
ОтветитьIs that Gasoline engine
ОтветитьWe are looking for 3600 series cores. Gas.
ОтветитьMy husband obsessed....
ОтветитьI guess the idea is to crank it till the starter gets hot enough to heat the engine.
ОтветитьThe Machine Spirit needs to be apeased.
ОтветитьIt must take one hell of an electrica motor to crank engines like these!!
ОтветитьAs an h/d truck tech in the late 70's early 80's, the 1693's, 3406's & 3408's were the gold standard for truck engines, commanded respect and admiration from drivers and techs alike. If there was any way you could afford one you got one. The high pitched "snap" of them firing was music to our ears
ОтветитьBravo colleagues, cool channel.
Very powerful
Caterpillar genset super heavy duty... All system destroyed burn but the engine and motor not have any single problems ☺️☺️☺️ TC settings is the winner against BTDC or TDC🤣🤣🤣
