Amazing video Food Theorist Team! 😀Costco Hot Dog + Soda Combo Forever!!!
ОтветитьYou think at some point Mat is going to get sued by a company because he exposed them
ОтветитьA $1.14 is worth not being near Walmart People. $400 dollars? I spend over $10,000 a year there. I do like my Prime meat. I have 3 freezers. I save most of my money on glasses.
ОтветитьId rather shop at Costco than Walmart. In fact we’d rather pay more than go to Walmart.
ОтветитьBuy meat not bread grains carb
ОтветитьHear me out: Costco sells the Nintendo Switch money cards at a discount (I think $10 per pack here in Canada), so with a few of those (and let's be real, big title games cost a lot nowadays, so its not unreasonable every once in a while) you've made your money back easily
ОтветитьYou can freeze lemons
ОтветитьI’m able to get groceries for 3 months from Costco for less then 100😬😭 followed up by a 1.50 hotdog combo I’m SET
ОтветитьI think their gas is about 30 cents cheaper as well. So at about 9 gallons a week, would take me 24 weeks to make that 65$ up.
ОтветитьI feel like the best way to use costco is to have a group of college students registered under one person's membership as family
ОтветитьHow u feel about Diet Coke now that Aspartame may cause cancer?
ОтветитьYou've clearly never bought a car through Costco, or bought gas there. Costco saved me $16k on a new car... no dealer markups, no add-ons, perfect. Your only criteria was small goods, but Costco's true savings come on large items.
Ответить1.50 for a hotdog. or just buy a pack of hotdogs.
ОтветитьHow bout the gas to
ОтветитьYou have Costco I have BJS
ОтветитьI drive past a Costco everyday and I got a membership just for the cheaper gas and food court. The membership paid for itself within a few months just on the gas. I’ve actually shopped there maybe twice the dozens of times I’ve been there though haha
ОтветитьCostco grocery store and ad with cheap price thing but actually it's expensive things only for elites😂😂😂
ОтветитьMatPat underestimates the resolve of CostcoMoms™ who will spend 500 in a single trip, every month, and then come back because they went through their entire supply.
Ответитьgas is always like 40 cents cheaper too at costco. save like 5 bucks on every fill up of gas. pays itself off in membership fees pretty fast too
ОтветитьI had to buy also $129 on sale freezer box 5 ft.³ to have a years worth of meat bought it all at once at Costco been using it throughout the year and yes it has saved me money
ОтветитьBuy 60 cans of Campbell’s chicken soup at one dollar each. The grocery store sells them for 4.99 there’s your savings
ОтветитьYou k;now that's right !! Checked prices, they are some of the most expensiveness food costs. A COSTCO card is just another status symbol for having far more dollars than sense.
ОтветитьMy husband and I have memberships, and we make a list, and we stick to that list. Period! The ONLY time that we MIGHT splurge is when we get our income tax refund.
If you don’t already have one, I implore you to go out and buy one, buy a vacuum sealer. Trust me, it pays for itself in a month! We go out to Costco and buy their meats, poultry, lunch meats and whatever else we can vacuum seal, then freeze. I always make A LOT of stews, soups, spaghetti gravy, and whatever else for the winter. We’ll have meals for a couple of months. Now, I’ll make a lot of other meals that we vacuum seal, and freeze.
The prices for items in Walmart have drastically increased, and the prices for items at Costco have increased a tad bit. The normal things that we buy at Costco is significantly cheaper than Walmart. We pay $20.99 for 180 Tide Pods at Costco, and Walmart charges over $30, so we buy ALL of our laundry supplies, cleaning supplies, cat litter ( we WISH that they’d start carrying the IAMS Cat Food, cat treats and moist cat food, because Walmart just raised the prices for IAMS, along with cat treats and moist cat food), toilet paper, toothpaste, shaving items, Magnesium supplements, vitamins, and what have you. I do know that IF you get the $120 membership, you do get 2% back of all your purchases. As for the electronics, appliances and other big ticket items, Costco has THE BEST warranties around.
Plus, at Costco, you CAN return ANYTHING — with the receipt, and they’ll refund the item, or they’ll give you a replacement, which DOES include meats, poultry, and the like but it also depends upon the butchers. So, like I said, buying a vacuum sealer WILL save you a ton of money. Before we bought one, we were throwing out a lot of freezer-burned meats, poultry, and other items. We were pitching over $100 a month in the garbage. Now, we buy in bulk and vacuum seal everything, and we saved that $100 and then some. We vacuum sealed frozen veggies, fruits, French Fries, pizzas, etc. We also went out and bought vacuum seal containers, which is why I make stews, soups, spaghetti gravy and whatever else in huge amounts.
So, if you shop responsibly and only buy what you’re going to need, then Costco will help you to save quite a bit of money.
You did not know you wanted them until WE told you
ОтветитьBetween costcos gas, and the fact that we like the chicken alfredo and orange chicken from there, it's totally worth it for us. Plus we get cashback with their credit card so the cashback should pay for the membership for nexr year
ОтветитьI mean, I eat at least 4 eggs per meal, and eggs are one of the few things that can be eaten everyday...
ОтветитьIf you haven't already, you should do one on IKEA... it's the same principle.
ОтветитьWalmart renders lesser quality products as the OEM manufacturers cut costs to meet margins while the same manufacturer will improve on the item to meet Costcos strict standards in which will garnish the brand a shelf position with very little competition of no more than a few other competitors at most.
ОтветитьThe costco best buys are rotisserie chicken, pre cooked ribs, food court, clothes, tires, prescription drugs, fuel gas prices, some times alcohol . The gas fuel savings alone will pay for the membership .
And ci
Costco has delivery, shipping on non perishables . So dont need go to the store. And non members can order online too.
You're good at spouting un substantiated half truths out the side of your neck.
ОтветитьDONT YOU DARE SAY SUCH UNSPEAKABLE THINGS ABOUT COSTCO
ОтветитьWelcome to Costco, I love you. 😂
ОтветитьFood theory: “or Gaston”
Film theory: wait… that’s a pretty good idea..
aesthetically snatches
Don’t forget gas discounts
ОтветитьMost of this is true of regular grocery stores too, the only exception being the membership. The gas price alone has kept me a member for years but I always price things out anytime I buy stuff. I won't buy things from Costco that I don't think are worth it and I more or less only buy the same things from there every time.
ОтветитьSurprised the $5 Rotisserie Chicken did not get an honorable mention. Now that and the Hot Dog are a deal. ... Always grab some when I pick up some gas.
ОтветитьBlasphemous, unsubbed
ОтветитьYou seem to suggest that Costco is profiting on memberships to the DETRIMENT of its customers, asserting that 72% of its operating budget comes from memberships. But there is a clear-cut implication to this fact that you also seem to overlook. Clearly Costco isn't making much money by SELLING PRODUCT. Yet it moves MASSIVE amounts of product! Those facts together expressly imply that Costco is basically selling product at break-even prices (and in many cases at a loss), which expressly implies that customers are getting the lowest POSSIBLE price, and that means "possible" from the most aggressive-low-pricing retailer on Earth. So, if you can do better across the board shopping elsewhere than Costco, membership fees included, I'd LOVE to hear where!\
Yes, of course, if you get a membership and then don't shop there, well, bad on you! But it doesn't take shopping there very often over the course of a year to MORE than make up for your membership cost. The only "detriment" to the customer is to get a membership and then not shop there.
As just one example of Costco's relentless commitment to lowest possible prices, some years ago Kodak tried to negotiate with Costco to raise its film prices, but Costco was having none of it. Costco negotiated a MUCH lower price with Fuji and kicked Kodak off the shelves. Over a year later, Kodak was back, hat-in-hand, begging to be put back on the shelves at an even lower price than Fuji. Costco holds manufacturers' feet to the fire on our behalf! And the Kirkland brand is just rebranded best-of-breed products from top-line manufacturers, where those manufacturers are forced to drop their prices when they rebrand for Costco. So, Kirkland is literally the best value on the top-line products that it's possible to achieve on this planet.
As far as the idea of needing to be a "big family" to really benefit from Costco, I say: Ridiculous! One of our employees is a single guy. He shops exclusively at Costco, going there every other week religiously. He literally stocks up for all of his meals for two weeks in one pass, and then just rinses and repeats. He buys his gas exclusively at Costco. And he makes BANK this way! As just one example, show me a three-pound pumpkin pie for under $6.00 ANYWHERE but Costco. Yes, a single guy is going to eat a lot of pie over two weeks, but, come on! SIX bucks!? And that's just one example. Frozen food galore! Even the chicken is crazy-priced!
IMO, you are drawing exactly the opposite implication from the membership fees that endless PILES of countermanding evidence reveal as the actual truth. Pay the membership fee, actually SHOP there, and it's a game-changer. And I haven't even mentioned their refund policy! People avoiding Costco because of the membership fee are just throwing money away elsewhere.
But, all that said, PLEASE don't go out and get your first Costco membership! Leave it alone! The stores are already too crowded, so we don't need more of you competing for cart-space in the aisles! Stay away. It's a terrible place, just terrible! Did I mention: TERRIBLE?
I have mine for sparking water. Its the only thing i drink. I go though a 12 pack in anout 4-5 days and its the same price as a 32 pack at costco.
Ответитьah yes, professional women. I love being a proffesional man
ОтветитьTBH, I NEVER saw casco as a cheep store. With the membership, free samples, high prices, and food court, I’ve always seen Costco as a fancy boutique type place where u have to be at least upper middle class to really get anything worth your wile there.
ОтветитьIn Mexico, pet food is very expensive. Costco saves me $220 USD a year buying my dog food there. I also really like their bacon, as good bacon is difficult to find in this country. I do buy some extras I might not otherwise get, and I enjoy them immensely. It's definitely worth it for me.
ОтветитьI have purchased items I really don't need or use. Being a 1 person household it really doesn't make sense to buy in bulk. Purchasing a death dog does not make goid sense health wise. They are tastey though. Dog treats, chicken, drugs and an occasional clothing item is on my list.
ОтветитьComing from an austrian - whats the difference between the regular (60$) and the premium (120$) costco membership?
ОтветитьYes, it does… and a lot.
ОтветитьDude-I was literally on my way to Costco now, going to Walmart now. You are 100% right, just subscribed !
ОтветитьJust buying gas at Cosco's gas station is enough to cover the membership free 3 or 4 times over. Anything else you buy in the store is just a bonus.
ОтветитьDon’t forget Costco gas and the $5 chicken
Ответить
