Nasal rinse doesnt work for me. The rinse got into my ear and caused inflammation on my face.

my grandmother's remedy for sinuses was chamomile tea patches on the sinus area on the face and also breath in the tea steam. I myself once had sinus infection I also put the tea in a clean dropper and instilled in my nostrils holding the head back. It was burning a little but after a few days of repeating this a long piece of something came to my throat and my mouth. It looked weird but my sinus was relieved afterword.

Nasal rinse doesn't work for me since I have a lot of polyps in both nostrils (one of them the size of a peanut, if not bigger!); all it does is block my ears, and I feel a lot worse after :(

I also tried a nasal spray with grapefruit extract and Xylitol that I bought from Amazon, but since I cannot spray it up my nostrils because of my oversized polyps, it didn't do much.

I tried using a Qtip dipped into this solution, but sadly it didn't help;(

I lost count of how many things I tried and nothing seemed to help

I have grape seed alcohol free tincture. Can I add that to my saline solution?

ENT docs gave me none of this info. Useless. They just prescribed sprays. And I just use Afrin now instead of that but want to stop. Only Afrin works. The other steroid sprays (Nasacort) dont really do anything anymore.I get nasal inflam every night...worse in cold months and hits after dinner.

What about a 2% iodine solution for the nasal rinse?

For years and years I've had sinus issues and bad allergies. A couple months ago I came down with a bad cold and then a fever. The fever did something that triggered my sinus to clear out completely, and a few days later my sinus was releasing all this long slimy green rope like substance out of my nose. I was amazed at how much was trapped in my sinus. It was mind boggling and made so much sense to explaining the issues I have been having for years. Better out than in, that's for sure. Cleaning the sinus is something you definitely want to consider and keep up, I know I will.

Hello Dr. Berg I got tinnitus with sinus.... I am desperate. I went twice to a dr and I have an appointment next week. I cannot live with this tinnitus and cannot breath. I was taking antibiotics and the dr put me 2 shots of steroids. Still with the tinnitus and cannot breath.

I fixed it by eating pickle with food.
