Root Android Without Custom Recovery (TWRP) With Magisk | Magisk Patch Boot Image Manually

Can I just replace the original stock rom boot.img with magisk img and flash thw whole rom using miflash tool to get root?

on the internet everywhere I read that oppo reno z got locked bootloader but for some reason mine is unlocked. so I wanted to root my device. on this phone I can choose whatever file I want on its own recovery mode. can I just boot it from there or do I really have to use a PC and fastboot?

brother i installed magisk app, when i open it it shows ramdisk as "no" does it means that i need to patch the recovery.img? but when i checked my stock rom folder i can see 3 img files named as ramdisk, there is a file named as ramdisk.img, does it means i have ramdisk. my device is lenovo tab m10 fhd relTB-X605LC
