Good overview of Vine! One thing I'd add, and hopefully this helps other viewers, once you enroll units into Vine just know that you can't enroll more of that same ASIN. So, if you enroll 2 units for "free" per Amazon's promo, and then decide you want to enroll more of the same ASIN, you're out of luck. It's a dumb policy and hopefully Amazon changes it in the future. But given how valuable reviews are for social proof, even Vine ones, I think you're better off paying the $200 and enrolling 15-30 units, assuming your product cost is low. This way you're guaranteed to get a decent number of reviews, which can be a huge boost for new product launches. Worth the investment imo.

My daughter said I should watch you..... So here I am 😂 btw, your channel says DEBT TO DOLLARS funny thing is ALL dollars are only debt, since it's a debt based system.

As a vine reviewer- Please follow that rule that you may not list anything that requires us to go out and buy something to be able to review it. That is there for a reason. If you do that, most people won't choose it. Of those that do, they may do so thinking that it is a standalone item and will not be able to review it and if they can't review it for a good reason it is erased from our list of items that we need to review. Parts for a specific piece of machinery or car...how many people actually have that particular machine or car? And how many made it into vine? Think about these things so that you can choose wisely.

Please put sizes or measurements. I won't get, for instance, a usb-c cable if you don't tell me how long it is- size matters. Also, who in the sam hill thought that it was a good idea to put BODY BAGS on vine? Seriously!!!! Those places that need and use body bags are NOT getting them on Amazon, I assure you. I mean I guess I could store it aside for the rainiest day of my life...but on that day, aforementioned places that commonly buy and use them likely have one for me in their inventory so I don't need my own. Also, despite the fact that I could put together a Mur der kit completely from stuff I find on vine (they've had some nifty scalpels), I do think putting the parts in a b bag ...while exceedingly helpful for the authorities who then don't have to do it themselves....would tend to get someone caught. But hey....the vine kil ler has an interesting ring to it...right?!? I DID consider getting it so I could say some of what I've said here (just because it entertains me)...but just my luck that someone near me would get mur dered and I just got a b bag from vine? Not a good look. Consider what you're even putting on vine...please.

Guys, we try to do pictures...but you have NO idea the amount of hassle that puts everyone through. If you put a picture with a review it can take WEEKS to maybe, possibly get posted. If you don't put a picture- maybe 3 days. Me and some others try to, on some things, put a photo after they have cleared through so there is still the text review in place while the picture crawls it's way through the sewer pipe of amazon to poke it's head out the other side. Seriously....it's a hassle for everyone.

And while no one here would do it I'm sure, if you try to engage in review manipulation that is outside of the rules, some- not all- but some vine reviewers are keeping an eye out and we've seen ALLLLL the ways to manipulate reviews. And we will report you to Amazon and we'll likely also go back and revise our review to out what you are doing. I go back after 6 months and look at each and every item that I left reviews for, sometimes I go back in a month or two. Don't do it...us viners along with everyone else hate it. Just play fair.

Also, if I didn't like your product do not email me through "there's a problem with your order" option on amazon unless you are willing to replace a defective product at no cost to us. Alot of us, if we get a replacement on an item that is actually defective, often will change our review to reflect good customer service with a defective item that the seller made right. If that is just how the product is built and we don't like it...we don't want another one and harassing us with an email sent through a loophole in the system won't make us feel any more kindly about it. And never ever email us directly outside of Amazon- that enrages most of us as it is a violation of our privacy. I recently got a direct email offering me $60 because I didn't like their item, I know what they're up to and I'm not biting. I like vine more than I like $60. - I could get kicked out of vine for going there. They were reported to Amazon and I changed the review to reflect that they were trying to buy me off. Don't do it!

I give the best, most accurate personal review that I can for you guys- I try to be fair, but if the product is problematic it is problematic and I'm going to say so. My allegience is to the buyers of amazon like my mother, my sister, my daughter so I have to give them the straight skinny. Know what I mean?

they charge $200 and then you have to give your product away? Are reviews worth the expenditure of close to $400? Will the sales bump be worth it? I am thinking the juice isn't worth the squeeze

Im not sure how they select reviewers but its evidently has no reasoning behind it anymore. I have a ton of reviews and generally make them very thorough yet after many yrs with amazon have never been invited. However I have noticed lately that when I see a product with vine reviews then click on it many people have 3 maybe 4 awful reviews. Honestly its really frustrating after reviewing everything for yrs. Im just about done with amazon they keep dropping the ball. They used to actually choose people with alot of very good reviews but after a google search I see Im not alone on noticing this error.

I’m an Amazon Vine reviewer and have been for almost a year. This video was helpful in getting some good insights into the sellers perspective. I’ll also return the favor from a reviewers perspective. Some reasons why you might have a product sent out but not reviewed are as follows:
1) some products I’ve order require time to install or use, or additional supplies to review. I just installed a product that sat in my room for a couple of weeks until I could get to it. I have another that I’ve had for months that will require project time, weather and wildlife to vacate before I can install it for reviewing. A product that required supplies and time was for a small concrete mold which I had to purchase the concrete and make time for the project. That project went well and the product earned five stars.
2) The product comes in in such poor shape that it’s returned and not reviewed. I am currently returning a product that was poorly assembled, sent back for a replacement only to have the exact same problem. I can still review a defective product but I usually don’t unless the problem is particularly bad, as this one was. I wanted the manufacturer and potential buyers to know that this product had issues that needed addressing.
3) A reviewer is not required to review 100% of what they order. A reviewers review rate determines their eligibility to remain in the Vine program, and also how many products can be ordered per day. I’m currently at a manageable 3\day, but was once at 8/day.

I’ve learned to choose items with the knowledge that I will have the time and the ability to use them so that I can give a timely and though review. And lastly, any review can be updated. I have gone back to reviews to add additional info, usually for the better, about things like durability or battery life.
So if your a pedantic, do-gooder who deeply believes that good feedback makes products better, write good Amazon reviews Kids and maybe Big Daddy Amazon will smile upon you and choose you as a reviewer 😊
Thanks

One thing to add, is the vine reviewer checkers, are pretty hit or miss. They will flag a review claiming it breaks guidelines when it doesn't WHILE it allows top reviewers to post reviews of packages, plastic and boxes, which you ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO. IT ALSO doesn't care how long you've been in the program. FOr the last 6 months everything I try to order is not avaialbe because new people or new reviewers get on so it doesn't matter I've been at it two years. Also I was away for three weeks without internet and they ACTUALLY HAD THE NERVE TO DIMINISH MY SELECTIONS TO THREEE ITEMS, MOSTLY ALL TECHNOLOGICAL AND THIS IS AFTER OVER 1000 REVIEWS. NOT WORTH IT ANYMORE. THEY LITERALLY HAVE EVERYONE AND THEIR DOG AND CAT REVIEW BUT ONLY ALLOW THOSE THEY DEEM WORTHY TO POST, THEY ACTUALLY WILL FLAG YOUR REVIEW FOR NONE OTHER REASON THEN THEY DONT' WANT TO POST IT. IT'S HAPPENED WITH 17 OF MY REVIEWS, SO THEY AREN'T LOOKING FOR HONEST REVIEWS WITH PHOTOS. ALSO YOU CAN NEVER CONTACT ANYONE THERE. I'VE HAD PACKAGES GO MISSING FROM INTELCOM AND THEY DO NOTHING AT ALL, BUT KEEP THE ITEMS ON MY LIST SAYING I HAVEN'T REVIEWED THE. THE PROGRAM NEEDS HELP AND MORE ORGANIZATION. JUST REMEMBER THE MORE PEOPLE THAT REVIEW, THE LESS CHANCE YOU GET TO SELECT ANY PRODUCTS THAT ARE WORTHY OF YOUR REVIEWING BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T USE IT, YOU CAN'T REVIEW IT.

The title of this video is totally inaccurate and misleading and for me, and was a waste of my time. It is not about receiving free items at all but rather how to use the Vine program as an online SELLER! Re-name your video so it attracts the right audience, please.

So I'm confused. You can't be a product reviewer unless you sell a product on Amazon? Do people buy other makers products in bulk, then just pay to sell them on Amazon?.. then they can get other sellers products for free to review? Is this how the Vine program works? Someone please answer this question ❤

A couple of questions: 1. Can you enroll in the vine program if amazon is still checking in your inventory? (there aren't available units for sale yet). 2. Can you enroll 30 units for each child ASIN? For example, if I have 1 parent ASIN of T-shirts with 4 different colors. Can I enroll each different color of t-shirt with 30 units each or just 30 units total for the whole parent ASIN?

Thank you for this great video. I am the seller trying to get more reviews from Amazon. Does Amazon send the product directly to the Vine members, or do the Vine members have to order that product to receive the free product for review? How long will take amazon to disbute all my products ( if I send 30 units at once) the vine members? Because my product is a perishable skincare serum, it can only sit in the Amazon warehouse for a short time. Thank you so much.
