Orion Nebula and Betelgeuse Live View through my Telescope

I just saw the space station for the first time with some binoculars and that was pretty cool! Don't have very much time though.

Though Star Trek is fictional, it feels like how our future on earth could be. Being a paralyzed Disabled Veteran, it sort of gives me hope that we as humans will finally put our petty arguments behind, and focus on humanity as a whole. But as long as we have Dictatorships like North Korea, humanity will never be able to travel to the stars. They live to support the North Korean government, mainly the Kim guy and his family. The population can't say anything negative about Kim. And that may not be enough to keep you from the North Korean prisons. I'm totally convinced that there are no Aliens from outer space. Why? Because of how we've treated each other since the first civilization in Ancient Mesopotamia all the way until now. The billions of lives killed from then to now, Aliens would have been able to scan us and know that we never come in peace. Never have, never will. Just look at how the Americas from North to South, the invasions from Europe. Even the South Pole will be fought over one day. Russia claims the North Pole, even though it's all ice and nobody can live there. They claimed it because of the same reason why countries invade others, ego.

They are not stars, they are people's souls who disappear in universe after they die!

So if the human life started from Orion, does that mean that we are the only aliens and that’s why humans never founds real aliens or ufos cause the plane terra is the only ufo that brought us here and the 3 stars exploded billions of years ago but we still wait for the light to show up to us cause we traveled with the speed of light to our current location? 🤔

Just saw the prion through my orion xt4.5 last night

I don't need anything in my life. Just looking at night sky stars and planets make me so happy and curious at the same time. It's a feeling I can't explain but it's awesome. Universe is so beautiful and mysterious.

Since i was a kid, I always look those three stars in a line and then the red star near them....never knew it was Betelgeuse until I was like 16 years old

The Orion constellation is my favorite. It's one of the only constellations I can see clearly from my house. There are 2 other ones I can see, but the rest are blocked out by trees. Betelgeuse is one of my favorite stars cuz I saw it in the sky glowing orange and found out what it was
