He was funny funny.
ОтветитьLike how many times did George do the late night.
ОтветитьDavid letterman one of my favorite talk show host.
ОтветитьThere is actually chess boxing now
ОтветитьAs a European, I agree with John Cleese why is the American game called football when the appendage naming the game is used only 1% of the game!! the rest is done by hands arms and embraces but no fucking feet!!!! you can call it Teethball and it would be equally wrong!!
Handball would be more accurate but the English and Irish would call that rugby!!
Aka i don't get it!!!!
It’s funny how he said on the July 15, 1986 episode that he felt more comfortable than the last time. 😂
ОтветитьI stayed in the Holland Hotel and worked on Tenth Avenue for the Associated Press repairing teletypes.
Ответитьi love how George was able to do so much of the same material for decades, but he kept getting better at the bits
Ответить🇲🇽🙃
ОтветитьI noticed when watching a Phil Hartman on Dave letterman compilation, that Phil and George and others probably reuse the same speaking bits. Why is that ? Is it a screen guild writing clause or ? It’s so odd how Dave laughs as if it’s the same time he’s ever heard it… like the mom carrying him low etc so weird.
ОтветитьPlease re-post these WITH the commercials. They are half the show!
Thanks in advance, Lieutenant Dan 😮
Hard to believe that the first few appearances were FORTY YEARS AGO
ОтветитьI had such a great time hanging out with Garage and dinner was fantastic...the only part that really sucked, was when my gd alarm clock woke me😢
Ответить...never been a hull like this
ОтветитьGeorge Carlin was a genius and way ahead of his time!
ОтветитьStill love Carlin's incredibly insitefulnes😂😂😂...😮
ОтветитьJackie Stewart was a race driver not an announcer as he thinks.
Ответить"Our political system is a freak show, and I want a front seat!" Carlin 😅🎉😂
ОтветитьIt's like Dave always gave 2 segments to George.
ОтветитьIn Late 1972 in San Diego at Funky Quarters where I saw Cheech & Chong and many Top San Francisco Bands, (Bill Graham Productions Mainly) …
I saw a 34 year old George Carlin and really Excited because I knew him from Television on so many TV Shows over the years! BUT! he was So, So Tweeked out!
THE ROOM WAS SILENT For the whole show! He couldn’t Complete a thought and it was painful to see.
He seemed to be in a place that many of our contemporaries NEVER Got Out Of and or never saw 30 years old,
we’re in our 70’s now!
Thank Goodness His Best Stuff Was Yet Too Come! … R.I.P. Geo!
Thanks Don for all the time and effort you put into this compilation. It really makes my day. All the best. 😂
Ответитьburns and carlin, they put out an album and I have it
ОтветитьGeorge......the oracle. Not many people knew George could see the future and provide such prophetic advice.
ОтветитьYou forget digital gold exists when you get caught up in life's dramas.
ОтветитьLOL! Hi Don.
got a laugh when I saw yr name since we just had a conversation elsewhere
197k subscribers! Well done, sir!
I think in the first one, especially when doing the earlier versions of the awesome Football vs Baseball, my man George was HIGH af Lol. You can tell and I LOVE him! God Bless Mr. Carlin and R.I.P.
ОтветитьDon, you’re doing such a great job. Thank you!
ОтветитьSweater King
ОтветитьI wonder how Cici is doing. Hope things turned out okay.
ОтветитьI saw George at the Celebrity theatre in Phoenix early 70’s.. It was the 7 dirty words tour…
ОтветитьGeorge is great. Best ever, IMO.
My mother used to say Dave was a jerk. This may be related to why I never call her.
A brave soul. A true genius. First time I shot milk from nose.🌼🐻🌼
Ответитьfull contact chess is coming true!

I miss Dave's show.
It was the one show i always watched every night.
It was before the internet of course.
If you wanted a book, you went to the bookstore.
Iam still waiting for ...a ...second Carlin....to...make us laugh...and thinks....!!
ОтветитьI just enjoyed a Smithwick's while watching your Irish red video. I'm working on upping my BJCP credentials to national, and am enjoying having a beer and studying with you. Please keep up the excellent work!
ОтветитьCrazy to be watching this in 2023!!!!
ОтветитьAfter watching this my belief is Mr G C had a lot of sticky fingers in lots of pies. Also I noted his words on having to lose his NY drawl. Oddly enough so did Mr Ed O'Neil from MWC. In his first two seasons his NY drawl was distinct, then it vanished slowly.
ОтветитьMy favorite person to ever live
ОтветитьIn some ways I would say George was an unfulfilled man. You can just see the sense of longing for a movie career or even TV show star career that just never materialized. Like it did for Robin Williams. But at that time the late 70s 80s and early 90s comedians stood out more with no internet yet. It was a dramatic stage that had great effect on the senses. And Carlin at Carnegie Hall as an example was mindblowingly funny. He is without a doubt the King. And I’d put Richard Pryor basically right there with him Live on the Sunset Strip. It was never as good as that again but Chris Rock was pretty damn good for a while. Chappelle is gifted but I don’t put him in their class although Chapelle’s Show has some HOF funny ass moments specifically Charlie Murphy, Prince, and I’m Rick James Bitch! Also MTV Real world or whatever with the white boy and parents who get cuckolded and stabbed with a box cutter. Die laughing skit.
ОтветитьDon; Gotta give you big, BIG thanks, for putting all these clips of the King of Comedy…never got to see him live ( same w/ Robin Williams ) left a big hole in MY Bucket List.
Again, thanks!
that was a damn good Jackie Stewart impression 😆
ОтветитьLaetrile overdose.... You have to check that out!!!
ОтветитьLetterman cracking up at 25,25 minutes cracked me up
This just gets better the more it goes.
I can't stop smiling :D
ОтветитьCarlin was a lot more fun in these days, and really a bit past it. There was a point he became very bitter and despaired. I still thought he could be funny, but it wasn't a fun time at all after 2000.
ОтветитьI don’t mean to disagree with my hero but soccer it’s known rightly so as football by the whole world again it’s fútbol!!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂💪💪💪💪
ОтветитьWe miss you cici.
ОтветитьOJ would absolutely kill with that rule change in the fourth quarter
