As a European, I agree with John Cleese why is the American game called football when the appendage naming the game is used only 1% of the game!! the rest is done by hands arms and embraces but no fucking feet!!!! you can call it Teethball and it would be equally wrong!!
Handball would be more accurate but the English and Irish would call that rugby!!
Aka i don't get it!!!!

It’s funny how he said on the July 15, 1986 episode that he felt more comfortable than the last time. 😂

I noticed when watching a Phil Hartman on Dave letterman compilation, that Phil and George and others probably reuse the same speaking bits. Why is that ? Is it a screen guild writing clause or ? It’s so odd how Dave laughs as if it’s the same time he’s ever heard it… like the mom carrying him low etc so weird.

In Late 1972 in San Diego at Funky Quarters where I saw Cheech & Chong and many Top San Francisco Bands, (Bill Graham Productions Mainly) …

I saw a 34 year old George Carlin and really Excited because I knew him from Television on so many TV Shows over the years! BUT! he was So, So Tweeked out!

THE ROOM WAS SILENT For the whole show! He couldn’t Complete a thought and it was painful to see.

He seemed to be in a place that many of our contemporaries NEVER Got Out Of and or never saw 30 years old,
we’re in our 70’s now!

Thank Goodness His Best Stuff Was Yet Too Come! … R.I.P. Geo!

After watching this my belief is Mr G C had a lot of sticky fingers in lots of pies. Also I noted his words on having to lose his NY drawl. Oddly enough so did Mr Ed O'Neil from MWC. In his first two seasons his NY drawl was distinct, then it vanished slowly.

In some ways I would say George was an unfulfilled man. You can just see the sense of longing for a movie career or even TV show star career that just never materialized. Like it did for Robin Williams. But at that time the late 70s 80s and early 90s comedians stood out more with no internet yet. It was a dramatic stage that had great effect on the senses. And Carlin at Carnegie Hall as an example was mindblowingly funny. He is without a doubt the King. And I’d put Richard Pryor basically right there with him Live on the Sunset Strip. It was never as good as that again but Chris Rock was pretty damn good for a while. Chappelle is gifted but I don’t put him in their class although Chapelle’s Show has some HOF funny ass moments specifically Charlie Murphy, Prince, and I’m Rick James Bitch! Also MTV Real world or whatever with the white boy and parents who get cuckolded and stabbed with a box cutter. Die laughing skit.
