I'm not sure which is more of joke...your moustache or you recommending a G5 SE notorious for its thermal issues bases on its hardware alone.

Honestly, i bought the legion 5 now as just a daily driver, i dont rly play any demanding games anymore and i want to be on the go "im getting too old" But i got the 120hz version (sad i know) with 1660 ti and ryzen 5 4600h for only 500 bucks. Its a steal in my opinion even tho the 120hz isnt as good as the 144hz.

Hello, just purchased dell g15 5510 w core i7 and 3050ti from Dell for 900. Hope I got a good deal, I think I did 🤔🤔🤔 new into pc building but I would like to upgrade my ram to be able to play rust as it asked me for 10mb and crashed. Can you please send me a link to a video or an instruction manual of some sort to do it myself? Also, what kit would u recommend?

It's so funny he uses the TUF A15 as a counter-example for every spec everytime !

Love the banter. Keep up :D

I have to say that I bought a Acer Nitro 5 over a year ago at a big discount and it has really surprised me how good of a laptop it is for the price. While it does have a fairly low end AMD 560X graphics card it does manage to play most AAA games well at lower settings. I have, however upgraded to a Legion 5 with the RTX 2060 so I can use it for VR applications but it also costs double what the Nitro was for me at the time.

I just purchased my first laptop two weeks ago.
Legion5 4800H, RTX2060, 16GB ram @ $1099. I added 2 ssds and a bigger battery.
If PC parts weren't outrageous, I probably would never have bought. Glad I did though. Cool Laptop. very happy.

Great informative video, I'm stuck between the dm g5 and lenovo Legion 5 ( both 1660TI options available, or I maybe possibly go for a 2060, which would you recommend, I think they offer bother models with a ryzen 7, ram isn't important as I would upgrade to 16gb anyway, the lenovo has better cooling? How about build quality on the dell? I saw how flimsy the display is on the Legion, and it kind of put me off.

funny that the only thing reasonable enough to buy for midrange in my country is the legion 5. everything else is just basically scalper price with anywhere between 30% to 50% markup. Lenovo won my purchase simply with having actual stock rather than low MSRP then getting scalped like mad.

The Legion 5 has dropped in price to $1100 for the 2060 version and $1000 for the 1660ti, while the RP-15, at least in the US, is unavailable and as far as I know has stayed at $1250. The Legion 5 has become the 4800h laptop of choice I think.

thank you so much for your great review.. in my country the Asus TUF gaming is offered with two versions but the first version is with Ryzen 5 4600h and the other is with core i5 10th gen and the other specs are totally identical having the same GTX 1650 TI.. for which version you think I should go because they are having the same price? I would really appreciate your advice

I love my Acer Nitro 5 with the 4600h but the gtx 1650 is just adequate. Still for a sub-$1,000 price point in the US it's not bad. I would have loved a model with a Radeon cpu but it wasn't an option.

A bit of misinformation. The ASUS ROG ZEPHYRUS G14 is a gaming laptop. You said it's not a pure gaming laptop. It actually is. ROG stands for Republic of Gamers. And it is primarily a gaming laptop. And if you don't believe me then you can go to their site where it is marketed as one.

I ended up going with an RP-17 and put a decent size of ram and nvme in it. Going to use it for a mix of audio/video production and gaming. For the longest time I've used desktop for this purpose, but since ryzen 4000 series, it really feels like laptop cpus have closed the gap. Really looking forward to using it.

I got my omen 15 discussed in the video for $849 from best buy and I upgraded the ram for 60 bucks to 16. Woot. Saved a couple hundred bucks and it had good battery live (only a couple of hours for my old 17" 2070 rtx gaming laptop). Since this is the first time I seen this guy, I didn't notice the mustache because I had never seen him before. You people are weird, people wear mustaches all the time. If you are going to criticize anything, it would be it looked like he just rolled out of bed and his hair is sticking up, but he may always look like that.

I was able to get the Omen 15 on Black Friday that offered the RTX 2060. After upgrading a couple things the total ended up being $1187.99. Here are the specs:

1 TB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
Full-size, island-style, 4-zone RGB backlit, shadow black keyboard and 26-Key Rollover
16 GB DDR4-3200 SDRAM (2 x 8 GB)
Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX 200 (2x2) and Bluetooth® 5 combo (Supporting Gigabit file transfer speeds)
Windows 10 Home 64 Plus
HP Wide Vision 720p HD camera with integrated dual array digital microphone
6-cell, 70.9 Wh Li-ion polymer
AMD Ryzen™ 7 4800H (2.9 GHz, up to 4.3 GHz, 4 MB L2 cache, 8 cores) + NVIDIA® GeForce RTX2060(6GB)
15.6" diagonal FHD 144 Hz IPS anti-glare micro-edge WLED-backlit, 300 nits

Is the Eluktronics-rp15 your reviewing the same as the Infinity 05-4r7r6-888 here in Australia? Since the 05 models are the only ones I can find with Ryzen cpu yet the Infinity W5 range has the intel i7 but more closely matches the other specs you go over.
