Stupid show about a girl that things just “happen” to, because “she’s a girl” and who loves to make a scene. Making issues out of non issues. Complaining about things literally EVERYONE goes through. Typical. Just proves that no matter how hard one tries, it will never be good enough.

Shit series

I loved this show. it's raw and real. it shows that suicide effects everyone involved, not just the person who committed it. Jessica and Hannah's sexual abuse broke my heart. watching the original unedited version of Hannah's suicide made me physically sick. and, in fact, it traumatized me. I can't unsee it. I know a lot of people gave this show hell, but I think it needed to happen. people need to say how their words and actions effect others. this might sound odd, but this is my comfort show. it gives me a sense of peace. I don't know how to explain it.

The books is just so much better

While this was airing I was (in real time) living Jessica's story arc and each season sort of lined up with how I worked through my assault. It wasn't a perfect show but I'm just happy some of us get a happy ending after the rainstorm
