Can you make videos like POW music with this? Trying to figure out how to make the fretboard graphics without spending days coding notes etc. etc. etc. I know lots of other guitar teachers would like to know too. Thx
ОтветитьHow is the Bluetooth midi latency??
ОтветитьThats how you do a review, thanks a lot. I wonder how I can change the midi settings while beeing in my DAW playing 3rd party Synths. I can´t open both (DAW and Creator) at the same time. So how its done?
ОтветитьMuch better sounds available
ОтветитьYou're not going to mention the Roland guitar synth!? It was from the late 70s.
ОтветитьIs there a big difference in midi performance between this and the classic?
Ответитьcan I plug directly into my keyboard ?
ОтветитьExcellent review! Thank you. Richard.
ОтветитьHi Dave! I am assuming that it can be used as a peactice guitar with headphones without being connected to an amp or a computer. Is that true? Ihope the answer is yes. It is small and versatile enough toberaken around and used as practice guitar.
ОтветитьThe only thing missing is the floating tremolo. Imagine you're in a band with no keyboards and you're covering Van Halen stuff, so you need to play both key and guitar solos 🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьHoly flipping Wonka tech. Gnar!
ОтветитьCan you use this in Logic/other vst?
ОтветитьGreat demo man - thanks! By far the best demo I've seen online - and much better than the Jamstick corporate effort ;)
ОтветитьGuitar pro needs to do a deal where this will tab easily.
ОтветитьCould you make a video where you try some syncopated, high energy strumming? For example the main guitar riff in "play that funky music white boy". Everything you're playing on here is basically either lead guitar or very straight chords with no syncopation and/or muted (ghost) notes. Kind of hard to tell how well this thing would perform in those scenarios. Also if you could do that with both stock plugins and jamstik plugins that would be great since it would paint the whole picture...
ОтветитьThis may be a dumb question but is there a way to play this with an actual keyboard or rack mount synth?
ОтветитьNot to super nitpick this cool review, but you keep saying”VST”, and I think you mean “VI” or virtual instrument. VST is of course a plug-in platform type.
ОтветитьGreat video. Any comparisons with Fishman's TriplePlay Midi Guitar System? Seems like to could be good for classical guitar style pieces.
ОтветитьCiao, é possibile collegarla direttamente ad una tastiera? Ho un korg e volevo suonarlo tramite chitarra
Ответитьi own this guitar, i'm a lofi hiphop producer and this guitar is perfect for this genre of music.
ОтветитьGreat stuff man. Hey, how's open tunings workout? Open D or C or just alt tunings in general. Thanks
ОтветитьDear sir i want to buy this guitar please send the website or link
ОтветитьMy dream come true. I can write metal core style music but using synths and pads and woo!!
ОтветитьOh I saw this on Andrew Huang’s TikTok and was looking for a more in depth review. Thank you! This looks like a good midi guitar :)
ОтветитьHow long does it take to charge?
ОтветитьWould you say this is superior in performance to a Roland GK-equipped 13 pin synth guitar or pitch to midi system?
ОтветитьCasio were building midi guitars like this back in the early 80’s. I had an MG510 and it was great. Having said that, I love this modern version.
Ответитьwell now i dont have to learn how to play piano
ОтветитьI recently bought a YouRock guitar (1st gen, old firmware) and while people often dismiss it as either a toy or a halfbaked creation, I can see it has very different strengths to this guitar.
Faster response times, standard midi out port, whammy bar, mod joystick (which could map to other params).
And weaknesses such as sensitivity, lack of bending, open string response, lower skill transfer (since unlike this, it is not really a guitar).
Unsurprisingly, Id like to have both and then use each with their own strengths and limitations to approach things from different angles. In my mind, I hear sound looping somewhere in the corner, its Adam Neely saying "limitations breed creativity" ... Followed by the lick in regular and 7/11 timing :P
Anyway, really cool piece of gear and some tasteful playing :)
Returning mine. It will not output midi. Via the midi output or usb c in standalone, the creator app, creator vst, or web portal. Not recognised as a device of any description in windows 10. Frustrating.
ОтветитьSounds harsh sharp and jangly.
ОтветитьThank you for a clear and comprehensive review! I put my order in and want to say that your 10% discount is still honored. Thanks!
ОтветитьCan the JamStik switch between MID and Analog guitar?
ОтветитьHi! Do you know if with this guitar you can write tabs while you play? It should recognise the exact string, bend, slide, etc.... That could be a very useful tool if you improvise a lot and want to have your licks written or create exercises for students, or simply the tabs of how you perform a cover on your guitar.
ОтветитьToo much talking not enough of hearing what the instrument has to offer.
Ответитьvery good demo.
I was close to getting one of these, but I changed my mind. I like my guitars. The same reason I won't buy a variax, I want to use my guitars.
I'd like to see Jamstik make system that can be installed on/in other guitars, similar to the GK system without the bulk; I have two guitars with GK pickups, and one with a 13 pin built-in - one of the few guitars I actually wanted that had one built-in, and I use it with non-GK systems; I use a SY-1000 for my GK guitars, and a GT-1 + SY-300 for my non-GK guitars.
I'd like to add this MIDI system to one, or more, of my guitars.
Thee is Always a sting in the tail.
An £800.00 sting
I wish they would sell just the hex pickup to install on my telecaster.
ОтветитьHey, how would this guitar be for live performances? Thank you for the video!
ОтветитьI wonder if it can achieve sounds of a dulcimer, sitar, harp, oud, lute, and other folk instruments. And then all the heavy metal sounds too? I am guessing yes, as long as there is an external synth or software that generates it.
ОтветитьIs that a Roland GK-3 pickup it is using? Also, I wonder how it compares to a Fishman triple play.I know you said you have never played one, but wondering how they compare in terms of tracking?
ОтветитьI would hope they have a pedal for sustain like a piano has
ОтветитьCool. Will this work with Akai Force?
ОтветитьReminds me of the Roland gr55 which completely sucks lol
ОтветитьI'm sold on it just dont have the extra money. Do you have to tune it?
ОтветитьThanks for the review! How do you think it compares to other midi guitar controllers out there? I was impressed with the palm muting, and hammer ons on this. But, the last time I tried a midi controller, it was in the 80s so I don't know what else is out there!
