ОтветитьBasically Buzz Lightyear had Type 1 Bipolar Disorder.🤒🤒🤒🚨💊💉
ОтветитьGreat Speech
ОтветитьAmen
ОтветитьThat was amazing and so important to understand.
ОтветитьThis video, like many Tedx Talks, is an oversimplification, something I find especially prevalent in discussions of dopamine.
Dopamine firing does mediate reward prediction error, but specifically PHASIC dopamine firing (occuring in stimulus-cued bursts) tracks rewards and stimuli, as opposed to TONIC dopamine firing (occuring constantly at a low rate, un-cued), which is thought to modulate the effect of phasic firing. There are also other dopamine pathways besides the "reward pathway" such as those involved in motor control and lactation.
Additionally, the idea of a clear distinction between consummatory vs appetitive behaviors is controversial, and dopamine's functioning does not clearly align with one or the other.
Dopamine has a LOT of functions in the brain, depending on a variety of factors and complex context. Dopamine is undoubtedly essential to the mechanisms behind attention, emotion, motivation, and movement, but its role should not be oversimplified.
The more of the dopamine spike, the higher the crash will be.
Ответить(…perhaps because he never walked on the moon)
ОтветитьHallo?
Ответитьgreat talk!
ОтветитьHuberman Podcasts & that Addiction Specialist Psychiatrist (female) he interviewed (as have others), have taken my general understanding of how Dopamine works to a higher level IMO.😇
Ответить😊
ОтветитьI was a high stakes blackjack dealer at a CT casino. One night I dealt to a billionaire in the pharma industry, $300,000 a hand. He played and got drunk and we talked all night.
He told me: " I have bought and done everything I had ever dreamed of. And what I've come to learn is that if you don't have dreams, you don't have anything."
Excellent video that I listened to 3 times. 👍
ОтветитьOh gosh...this just legitimates all 'limited editions' : nowelty + scarcity = rush of dopamine + feeling of being exclusive. And, in order to perpetuate this into customers's brains, brands offer always new limited editions. Marketing proved by science !
ОтветитьThis video has a potential to change your life if you allow it to be!
ОтветитьBrilliant ❤️
ОтветитьMy child is ADHD, what kind of activities could trigger dopamine for child. Please tell. Thank you
ОтветитьFantástico 👏👏👏
ОтветитьGreat video ❤️
ОтветитьYes
ОтветитьIs this precisely what the Buddha was talking about when he said desire is the root of all suffering?
ОтветитьThis is more than I expected 🤣 my dopamine is high ...now thank you
ОтветитьExplains alot.. I've often said that the last straw to break to bring this country to its knees, is the ultimate stockmarket collapse. Doping on dopamine daily jacking up the wallstreet money tree has maxed out expectations/dopamine.. now the let doWN..and man is it going to be big.. confidence and fleeting happiness is tied to the $.. and once that gravey train has left..peoples mental paralysis will be shot. Last 2 years has seen mental instability and depression spike but it will truely get to horrific proportions once the largest crash occurs. This nation has been superficial and most will pay the price. Need to get back to old Morals and values and true joy and contentment
ОтветитьBut does a dopamine spike before you get the reward always happen? Like if I eat a chocolate bar everyday day , is that spike of dopamine of anticipation while I’m opening the rapper still have the same impact? (Dopamine spike is the heightened dopamine levels to what motivates you to get what you want of anticipation of it)
ОтветитьDamn he sounds like Richard Bandler!
ОтветитьSimply awesome talk! Makes a lot of sense
ОтветитьThis is so great!!
ОтветитьI can't believe the number of videos on dopamine that intentionally or unintentionally get this topic so wrong, even today...
ОтветитьWell, that was a waste of time
ОтветитьBuzz Aldrin never went to the moon. No man ever did.
ОтветитьOutstanding
ОтветитьGreat
ОтветитьIs this why children are happier than adults? Because they're exploring new environments and there is an incredible amount of dopamine released and then later on in life they've seen everything and get used to the everyday?
ОтветитьUau! Fantástico. Claro, simples e direto.
ОтветитьDopamine Rollercoaster ~= Hedonic Treadmill
Ответитьyou're only describing people that wouldn't wake out their front door, without a reward!
ОтветитьThis is the best here and now video I have ever seen. Thank you sir!
ОтветитьDopamine is dope
Ответитьvery useful information thanks
ОтветитьThank you. This gives me a new meaning for "dopamine detox". It's not that dopamine is a bad chemical, it's just that when we already got what we want, don't bother chasing more dopamine because you'll only want more. Instead, celebrate by spending time with peace of mind with family, friends and yourself.
ОтветитьYou're a great human Sir.
ОтветитьSaved this video! Life-changing: dopamine does not equal satisfaction. Big news!!!
ОтветитьManipulation with happiness.
