Death was a horrible thing to endure, an affliction that had affected many of his relatives, and something that he, while he had the sneaking suspicion it might even come to him or his wife someday, put it at the back of his mind. In Billy's old age he was focused on reliving his idyllic flower child youth. He may not have been as spry as he once was, but he had knee replacements and boner pills and a golf cart, and his wife had tanning beds and botox, the party never had to end. Billy's generation saw the deaths of their parents and the transformation of the world they grew up in. It wasn't their fault things had turned out as they had though. That's just progress, besides these younger generations were too soft, they didn't know how easy they had it. Better that they be replaced by hard working culturally enriching immigrants anyway, Billy thought. His children sure didn't deserve the tiny share of the nation's wealth they had, and he was beginning to think his grandson, who quietly prayed to Mary and talked like a socialist (as Hitler and the demonkkkrats were) didn't deserve the birthright either.

It was all okay though, Billy was never going to die...
