I love your videos. I have a question. I have a few Steering Wheels and was wondering if you know who makes a stand for them. Looking for a stand that can hold three or more. I can’t mount to the wall where I live. (Renting).

I just ordered a fanatec 5 days ago and it just arrived today. Either I was lucky or they are better with shipping times now. My only complaint is that I had to pay an extra 150 dollars to upgrade to QR2. Which was not optional since qr1 wheel side adaptor is out of stock and not coming back.

I’m in the UK. A year ago I went from a G923 to a Simucube 2 Pro. Yes, it was expensive, but it’s built like a tank and has been absolutely faultless. 25nm - More power than I’ll ever need and plenty of overhead to avoid clipping. Feels amazing to drive. So pleased I saved up and bought it. Buy once, cry once as they say. Great round up, Will.

Im looking to get into vr sim racing. Would a Quest 3 with Simagic Alpha base, GT PRO wheel, P-2000-R 2 prdal set, with 2 Haptic pedal reacters be a good setup? I'm just looking to race on road courses. Would not having a clutch/shifter limit what games I can play?

Logitech g920 for the easy change out for multi-sim setup but I can't express how pissed off I am that they haven't come up with some optional wheels. 😠

Heusinkveld Ultimate Plus and a VRS DFP, great combo. Great CS from Heusinkveld, and VRS has a great Discord support system. Paired with an HRS GT-8 USB wheel.

Do the MOZA wheels support auto wheel rotation sensitivity yet? You know, so that you don't have to fiddle with the rotation for each vehicle, as long supported by iRacing, rF2, AMS 2, etc. Always shocked that they could not do this.

Best Entry Level :
Fanatec CSL DD - regardless of shipping issues which they say they will fix hopefully, it is much smoother, better looking and cheaper than Moza counterparts (8nm configuration is cheaper than the R9). The Fanatec ecosystem and software is also much better than moza, with better looking and more fairly priced wheels (like the McLaren GT3 wheel which is the best bang for the buck of any wheel) and an overall more seamless ecosystem experience when setting things up.

Best Mid Level:
Simagic Alpha Ultimate - very good build qualities and looks. They have an incredible selection of fairly priced wheels compared to Moza for example or even Asetek. The Pedals have rumble motors which are really only topped by the heusinkveld and Simucube pedals at a much higher price. The price per nm of torque is also the best in the market (Fanatec is 999 euros for 20nm, Moza is 999 pounds for 21nm, whilst Simagic is 999 dollars for 23nm).

Best High Level :
Asetek Invicta - buying the simicube IP for the quick release did wonders for them, and they have now arguably eclipsed the simucube gear as Asetek have much better software and the rest of the ecosystem is much more affordable. The 27nm on the Invicta is very fairly priced at 1624.99 euros compared to the Simucube 2 ultimate which is 3200 euros for 32nm. Their pedals aren't the best, but the cross compatibility with heusinkveld pedals means that isnt an issue, and the cross compatibly with the best wheels on the market full stop make the bases very valuable compared to a Fanatec Podium DD2 for example.

or

Simucube 2 Ultimate - the most powerful wheel on the market (32nm) and the most responsive and detailed force feedback. This can be partnered with the best pedals in the business to which the most realistic and accurate active force feedback for ABS and wheels locking. The software is undoubtedly outdated, however I'm sure the upcoming 3rd series of simucube will smash their competitors at the top of the price range. The wheels are overpriced, however very well built. I would recommend waiting for the next generation as the current generation is 4+ years old and due for replacement and refreshment.

Simagic for me provides the best overall value for performance. I have an Alpha Mini version 1 and on paper it can get up to 13nm, although I find 10nm enough. Any more would be strictly for road details and wheel slip feeling. But I use transducers for that to give a simulated body frame/suspension feel. Quick release system is by far 1:1 to a real race car and that's what mainly drew me into it since I mainly drift and drive road cars. Switching up to my GTC wheel, GT3/GT4 racing is very immersive even with the 10nm. It's extremely satisfying when I change to different class cars and swap out my wheel.

Had a horrible experience with my first wheel last year, a Fanatec GT DD Pro (5 nm) — the data connection always slips out in the middle of a race .. and it was the worst customer service experience ever for me.. When I finally got my money back, I went all in on a Simucube 2 Pro. Incredible customer service and exceptional hardware. You really get what you pay for.

I own a R9 with 3 different Wheels (ES, CS V2, KS), CRP Pedals and shifter. I love these things. I us them mostly for AC (Hotlap and drifting) and Forza Motorsport. The only issue i have: In Forza Motorsport the ES have no Rev-Lights. In AC it works fine. Tried different settings. But no luck. Everything else works fine. Bought it 6 monts ago.

Bought a Logitech DD Pro last year after watching many of your videos. Fanatec was on the shortlist but they have too many products - DD1, DD2, CSL, Clubsport, DD+, DD Pro, and that's just the wheelbase - resulted in choice paralysis. I bought the Logitech and although the lack of addons sucks the wheel and pedals themselves are fantastic. There was no mucking about everything was included. And their built-in G923 compatibility mode has been god-tier because the older games just work. This is especially important to me because I swap between PC and PS fairly often.

I have zero complaints about the quality or price of the Logitech DD Pro. My only complaint is they're taking too long to release the "ecosystem" of shifters, handbrakes and custom wheels. Where are the wheels for WRC and F1? It's inexplicable how they could release such a good product only to seemingly abandon it like this. I keep hearing rumors about stuff coming soon but I'm losing faith and losing patience.

My question is all these companies generally send Boosted their hardware… so Im assuming the only reason he hasn’t tried Thrustmaster is they didn’t send it but why didn’t? I ran a TMX for nearly 5 years and just upgraded to Fanatec as it’s definitely the most evolved in terms of ecosystem and console compatibility between all consoles and PC

Fanatec - "Ships in 4-7 days" Complete BS. They have absolutely horrible logistics. Ordered April 22 (now May28), no tracking, no product, no replies to emails (nor emails from February about previous orders), ZERO customer service. Disconnected customer service numbers in Germany, dysfunctional lying chat bot on the web shop. No recourse for customers except trying to claw back the payment through the payment agent. I have never been so ignored by any company that has taken my money in more than 50 years. Does not inspire confidence. Throttle pedal I recieved in March stopped working in May, now trying to get a response for warranty/RMA. Based on treatment and lack of communication so far, not expecting much. Sorry I bought into Fanatec and would not recommend, based soley on customer treatment. Too bad really, the user experience of the DD set while it was functional was great. Not sure why people say the Fanatec situation is getting better..... I mean, it would be nice if it were.....

Thanks for this video, as I am now considering trying to cut loose from Fanatec and go with something else. In fact, all of your videos have been extremely useful in my sim racing journey, so many heartfelt thanks! 😀

So I currently use Fanatec wheel and dd base and want to leave the eco system what would you recommend? I drive gt3 and open wheel. I don’t mind spending money for quality products(have HE Sprints for example). I looked at moza but just getting entry level feel with some flashy features. I have looked at GSI/Sim Cube bundles and wondering if it’s worth it and if it is what’s the best model to get within reason.

I own the Invicta set ( wheel base + pedals) Asetek support is really good. The wheel base+ wheel are really good as you feel everything what the car is doing but it's let down by noise it makes(buzzing and buring sounds) as well as the hard brake and noisy spring pedal for the accelerator since day 1. ( lucky i live alone) To be honest If i had too choose again i would go with something else as i paid a pretty penny for these and don't feel like it is worth the money.

Moza r5 to R21 v2 upgrade here....Running with the Moza FSR or CS V2 wheel CRP pedals HGP/SGP shifter and SOON their E-brake.....LOVE MOZA ecosystem. Also what little customer support I needed was handle so professionally it has made me a Life long customer of theirs. I sent an email at 12am my time and had a response in less than an hour with steps to rollback my firmware and force an update (all my fault). They sent me replacement parts free of charge when I wore out my elastomers....I wanted to go to dual springs in my brake and they hooked me up. Love moza mounted to my RSeat N1 platform.

Your videos have been so instrumental. I just completed your recent simagic vs eveyrthing as well. After all
Your videos I’ve landed on simagic setup for my first ever sim setup. Only piece in lacking and can’t solve for is which rig/chassis I need to go with to support the alpha, p1000 pedals and simagic shifter and e brake.

I’ll be found a little bit of all (GT, F1, drift, arcade like stuff) little bit of it all and not sure what would be a good cockpit to support that and be able to mount the simagic setup too with ease.

Leaving three curved monitor setup Antonio’s against one big curved one.

This will be my first system. Not overly limited in budget but I’m also logical 😊

You guys should offer and service for consulting builds 1:1 I’d def pay for that
