Hi.

I have watched video .,very educational and helpful.
I am starting a business on amazon.
I need your help understand the outcome of the following scenario:

I am going to sell kids multivitamin, If a buyer does not like the product and decide to return it back,
Will Amazon return it back to me ,if yes, who is going to pay for the mailing expenses?
If Amazon decided to let the buyer keep the product,I will lose my money.
As you know if I get the product sent back to me ,I could get it refunded wether it is open or not.
Please help me understand this very important issue.

Have anyone had this issue with Amazon returns, I sent the item back, and they refunded my money, then month later, they said they received a different item. Month later, they charged my card said I didn't send back the item. What shall I do in this situation?

Hey, love your guidance through these videos.

I have a quick question though: Why doesn’t Amazon check our products from the start when receiving our inventory for any defects and send it back to us immediately instead of waiting for it to be delivered to the customer and then sending it back? That way, we know for sure that it was a fault at our end, not Amazon’s that’s being portrayed as our fault.

Hi Crestcent,

If I do FBA, whenever I have returns am I able to set the returns directly ship back to me, so I can check it and process the refunds, instead of having it send to Amazon?

Therefore if I receive buyers returns send back empty box, different item, switcherwoo etc, I can stop the refund if possible?

I have a situation where I ordered a car part and it was used and I put damaged on the return and now Amazon is telling me to wait until it’s processed before I get my refund. What does that mean??? And what if they think I sent back a used part??

They need to control the Uber excessive ridiculous over the top exaggerated insane abuse of the return policy.. Amazon buyers are cuddled babies who consistently rob and abuse small business owners by ordering products with no intention of keeping and returning items over and over and over and over..

Great video! Another question. If my products, like pillow inserts, I ship them with vacuum packaging. When customers return it without the packages and labels. How would Amazon deal with that? Would Amazon help to print the labels and will they be saleable again?

Amazon give the customer up to 30 days to return, the problems with that, customer could used it then return it no during this process customer will get refunded, seller will have to wait more than 60 days, until he get his item back in stock, however if it been used and not new condition, the customer wont blame for that, yet its wont goes to his inventory again, its unfair process ,simply other competitors could order inventory for the small sellers then return it, small seller would have to wait 60 days for the refund, that if he get it.
plus in so many times amazon failed to delivered to the customers, and they just get refunded, and they punish the sellers for that

Please help me understand i purchase a chainsaw and i receive October 24-2022 and first day i receive i put fuel in it and it just leak right back out bottom of fuel tank and i request for refundable or replacement they say i have to contact the selling and when i did i feel like im being ignore something pop up on screen say no refundable Ato Z confused the saw is damage and defective i never have problem when i brought from Lowe or home depot they happy to exchange or refundable no question ask is sad when you buy something brand new and you can't do nothing with it

My supplier shipped the wrong inventory to FBA. I already made 28 orders and 6 already applied for refund. The account is new and it feels like amazon will probably deactivate my account.
I have closed the listing and will be creating a removal order. But I want advice on how can I not get a ODR and NCX. I already tried messaging them and they don’t want to keep the item. It feels awful

Hey so I sent amazon my items and they have it my question is since I told amazon I want them to package it and sent it out how does it work after that when a customer buys my item does amazon get a notification and they lable the customer address and send it out? do I just sit back and let them do everything?

You would think Amazon returns are easy for everyone. WRONG!!!! I live very, very far from hubs that are only open during normal business hours. It is not easy to drive extremely far away from my home to return items when I work everyday and would have to miss a day of work to do so. There should be a way to drop it off at the post office, or to have it picked up from my house.

you are forgetting additional Refund Administration Fee which can be as high as $5/return and how about return shipment fee debited from your account to cover fee to return to amazon's warehouse

I have been getting a lot of replacements through FBA. Showing up as $0.00 dollar orders. I’m starting to think customers are taking adavnatage of the lax replacement criteria.

For some categories like vitamins for example because they’re consumable items the customer doesn’t need to return the item for replacement.

How can I fix this through FBA?

When you stated that Amazon determines if an item is in "like new" condition and then puts it back in your inventory are those items that show as sold by you or Amazon warehouse deals?

If a returned item is in perfect condition/resalable, but needs some minor fixing for ex the product/brand tags hung by small chain are missing, or the plastic wrapped on travel bag handles is torn/missing, will Amazon take care of such issues? Also, I am wondering when does Amazon determine the product needs to be returned to the manufacturer, and how that is handled. Thanks again.
