All wood blanks that I find on Amazon are sold as 1/8 inch - 3 mm. I assume that the wood is 1/8 but close to 3 mm. Will this work?
ОтветитьI would love to ADD a MOTOR (geared with belt) , any addon designs forthcoming???
Ответитьwhich material (wood ) name ? have you used?
ОтветитьSuper cool, it would be interesting to know how you desing something like this!
ОтветитьAwesome project. I would like to make this for Christmas present but I am having problems finding a wood source. You listed a link for the ball bearings, do you have a link for the wood?
ОтветитьAmazing beautiful. He didn’t say how much mm those bearings are ?
Ответитьsir kindly suggest me best material for this project.....
ОтветитьSuch a great resource website I send every new laser owner to the site and here. Many thanks for putting all the files up for our use.
ОтветитьI cut this from corrugated cardboard just for fun. (Thanks for the material Amazon.) Of course the gears don't work but everything assembles well and it looks amazing. The marble run works quite well. It is a real testament to the quality of the design that it works so well even in cardboard! Thanks for sharing this.
ОтветитьThere are 2 sizes of machines in the files size. Does the marble size make a difference?
ОтветитьExpectacular.
ОтветитьAmazing, been looking for this for sooooo long
Ответитьesta de parabens de liberar para download gratuito de um projeto incrivel como esse ....
ОтветитьJust finished making this with my daughters this weekend!! Thanks so much for the incredible free design!! Have subscribed and can’t wait to see what else you come out with!!
Ответитьcan someone please tell me the dimensions of the base for this project? I am trying to order sheets for this project I am getting the xtool D1 and had to modify the plans for a 430x400mm maximum work area. I am new to this so any help is appreciated. Thanks
ОтветитьCut and assembled without any problem ( triplex 3 mm). Some of the numbers mentioned in the video ar not correct but no problem to find out the proper pieces ( see reaction below John Schmo). Would suggest to cut extra long pins and use long pins where it's possible, they fit better and don' break. A extra support for the main shaft would possibly prevent flexing while in use.
ОтветитьMost diode lasers have the work area 400x400. All the pieces fit except the bottom plate. It would be nice if you can adjust that. I took away 10 mm from each side; some lasers have problems cutting at 400 so 390 should be good. Also rearranging the rest of the pieces for square bed and in the order that need to be assembled; so we can start mounting while the rest is cutting:)
ОтветитьIn the download link it mentions cut lines, score lines, and engrave lines. Does anyone have power/speed settings they've successfully used for each? I'm specifically looking for the different power levels for scoring vs engraving (cut lines are easy to get figured out). I have a 55w CO2 laser, but would welcome any data points that others can share.
ОтветитьWould love to make this but the web address is a blank page?
ОтветитьMy first attempt at this has not gone smoothly so far. Almost everything is too tight. I've had to sand things down ( like the short pins and various shafts) in order to get them to fit at all. The material being used is slightly under 3mm.. Maybe the laser is so small of a focus size (08x.08mm) causing a smaller than usual kerf making the cut parts a bit larger? In any case, I had this same problem before and fixed it by changing some setting in lightburn, but I forget what it was.. I will have to check it on the old project I did before. But not until after I get a 20w laser 😊
ОтветитьCut and and assembled this awesome Marble Race. Two thumbs up! 👍 👍
ОтветитьI just finished building this. Cuts are perfect. Pieces numbered and when assembled according to instructions the numbers are all hidden. Video instructions detailed and precise. Enjoyed making this project. Highly recommend doing this.
ОтветитьI was looking for free laser files and found your site. Simply amazing.
Do you have a tip for me, how i can get a better fit on my pins? My parts are so tough. The pieces fit very tight together, even with parafin and i cant get the pins to secure. The construction will stay save without the pins, but the look better with them.
BTW: Great work and i love that we can get the files for free. Keep going. 👍
Ran across this while searching for a marble run. Downloaded the file and will be cutting it out sometime this week. What kind of glue are you using in the video?
ОтветитьAll I have available is .250" MDF. Guess that means I need to scale 215% and use 1" marbles?
Ответитьcould you send me the download link?
ОтветитьNo one make better tutorial videos tha you guys
ОтветитьLove it, can't. wait. to do it with my students!
Ответитьmcafee is blocking download or windows because of virus detected
ОтветитьThis looks amazing! Have to give it a shot this weekend. thanks for sharing
