Ultimate M1 Mac Mini Setup - Same Performance as Mac Pro?

You can hook up touchscreen monitor up to a Mac and use the touch function but ur saying bcuz it's not officially supported u won't?

how did you connect your external speakers?? directly to the Mac mini via 3.5 mm audio port if it is a wired one, or to the external hub or is it a wireless connection?? or to your focusrite audio interface???

I currently run 2 external monitors off my 27" iMac with 4TB internal HD, 24GM of Ram. I'm curious about what you think of today's hub / doc combos and if you think the base config of the iMac memory is enough or would it be good to start with the 16 GB. Be aware the Mac mini m1 does nor support refresh tates higher than 60 Hz whatever port you use on the mac mini m1 (see specs of the mac mini m1).

I have the same monitor and I am only getting 2560 x 1080 native resolution when hooked up to my M1 Mac mini. Did you get it to scale to 3440 x 1440 and does it display that in the “About this Mac” section?

I won’t be selling my 7,1 just yet, planning to get a M1 but it will not be a mini, Most likely a M1 modular Mac Pro I want to be able to upgrade over time not be stuck with the same hardware for life if that mini

How does your external display do when the M1 mini wakes up from sleep? Doesn't matter what I try via USB C it always takes a crap when I wake from sleep. Have to unplug and replug before display works again. Or power off the m1
