I tried tweeting the settings but in reality it didn’t make a difference, I put it back at default , I just ignore the stuttering , I wish that VERIFIED games on steam would run better. But it’s still great.

Why not just use the in game FSR instead of the steam deck FSR

Reminder than it's possible to mod FSR2 oe XeSS for better visuals and/or performance than native rez.

I tried playing this on desktop more and I found out its a less stuttery there. With Graphics and texture to medium. When you zoom in and out during bow combat its ok.

Hi, thank you very much for your content. I really appreciate you showing the fan overlay. I personally try to configure games to run under a fan rpm of 4k. This way the fan is quiet and it feels better as a handheld device. With your videos (and the enabled performance hud) I can better judge if the game is worth trying out on SD.

If you only have steam deck to play dont buy this game. Constant frame drop under 20fps and crashes all the time.

I finished it on SD but even with overclock, memory oc, 20w instead of 15w, cryoutilites never got rid of these stutters. Horrible experience. I would have 50-60fps on low settings and these stutters still happen. My guess is memory but then again it did run on PS4 without these stutters so in reality this is just a badly optimized port where you need better PC than you really should. Still can´t wrap my head around why it is verified and why were people defending it that it runs great (in forums). So many people bought it for SD and couldn´t refund because it starts happening after the first few hours of the game...

Damb.. The port looks awful. A real example of a console port on a non high end PC

Finally a SD video on HZD that's not disingenuous by showing the demanding parts of the game and the open world. Most videos just show super closed off areas and small machines like chargers and watchers.

could never get it to run well of my lcd. didn't even bother downloading on the oled. one of two games I ended up regretting buying in the last 30-40 games that I bought

Too bad the devs didn’t care much to slap in fsr2 atleast to make the game way cleaner with 480p upscale

While talking about the System Level FPS lock you mention latency. What do you mean by that? Like input lag?

Just turn on fsr in game and will look amazing. It even reached 60 fps with dips

I wonder if you can get a locked 40fps or at least get rid of the frame drops if you were to drop the resolution way lower such as 540p this should be doable outside the game and using fsr when playing the game on low settings

Been playing through this recently on my OLED and Ally and it's been really nice. Really is a far cry from how disastrous this port was at launch lol

@SantiagoSantiago Do You use CryByte33 system optimizations? I think that one of the most important optimizations is memory swapping, that should help with memory constraints where cpu and gpu are contesting for the same memory space.
