Rosewood Firestation is a classic pick - almost cliche, so I understand why you didn't mention it. Who the heck hasn't?

Ben's Cabin is cute and cozy, but I prefer the McMansion on the other side of the pond that has the tall metal fence around it - very easy to secure, and better space and accessibility.

The north east of Muldraugh has an "Isolated House" that has tall wood fences around it, surrounded by woods and fairly separated from the town yet still close enough for loot runs.

i don't know if many of these places are really "beginner friendly" as they will take a lot of work to get up and running (depending on what you're going for)
that house with the garden plots looks really nice but you will spend most of your time clearing zombies BUT to the south east there are 2 big houses in the middle of the trees and there will likely not be many and if there is on the first day and you clear them they probably wont fill back in
of course the Rosewood fire station is always stated and in my experience it's gated area always has a horde or two
Cabin is good if you're going "survivalist" in the woods
another ok place is north west of Rosewood there are 2 house that almost never have zombies around and further north there is a warehouse full of produce, there is another even nicer house north-east but again almost always has MASSIVE horde nearby

I have another base location:
Dixie gas station.
It has a lake nearby for fishing.

I build a base on the water via stairs. First building on 2nd floor. Once above lake build stairs downwards and tiles on the lake. Then dismantle the initual stairs and entry only via sheet ropes.

So basically the base is surrounded by water and I can only enter it via sheet ropes. 100% safe even with helicopter event. You can fish and stuff. I used 2 entries on opposite sides just to be safe if zeds attack one sheet rope. Love it

Lol instantly noticed the first one its in Riverside. I used it too. When I went to this town to explore and loot.

I parked a car in front of the entry gate instantly to block it. Only had to deal with slow crawlers now and then. I then build 5 composters (cheese) to block it completely. Zeds won't attack then and can't pass them (they will only if you "replace" an existing one. So build them and never move them from there on). Not even crawlers. But this is up to you.

Muldraugh Southern Gas Station⛽ near the Diner.

- The rooftop of the gas station is spacious enough to build a base🏚 on top of it as well as farm.
- The position of the gas pump are much more convenient than the other gas station further up north near the hotel. Furthermore, the northern gas station is quite cramped and full of zombies. Depending on your sandbox settings, southern gas station is often less zombie count.
- With lots of nails and planks, you can build a floor on the grass that borders the gas station and the main road to prevent plants/tree grows on them. This will give more space for your vehicles and trailers if you are car/wrecks collector 🚙🚚.

Hi! I just want to make another recomendation for everyone here. I want to recomend another location: The muldraugh rich zone (idk how to say it correctly).
This place consists of a large chunck of houses (all of wich are barricated with fences the tall ones).
The houses can be looted for some basic stuff but with some basic carpentry you can build a a nice lil gated comunity if you want.
The pros: you are in muldraugh so looting sesions are not that long, the houses have some decent stuff to get you started and you might find some cars there (i found a dash rancher).
Cons: it will have a bunch of zombies in the houses, there is no crazy loot and if you dont clean the zone right, zombies are going to wreck the base.

Please excuse my English Lol

Heres another area I found on my first duo multiplayer world, The North Farm in Muldraugh, Its close enough to muldraugh for a looting but far enough for not to many zombies following you home, and its not to deep in the forest. Its a 2 story house with a tool shed and a barn (With nothing in it). I haven't seen any videos about this base area.
