I’ve skied up there. Great day out. But I used to live in Glasgow and once a month had to work in Aberdeen. I had a Porsche at the time and as you can imagine that route was the one I chose ! Superb drive

Hey Steve, I was born in Montrose, then we moved to Brechin, We're skiers so have been up and down the Glenshee road many times. Live in Australia now so great to have this as a reminder of Scotland. Maybe try the Cairn O' Mount road through Fettercairn sometime!

When we worked in Scotland as Caravan club wardens we had a recommendation from 1 of our members to visit the hotel/motel at the spital of Glenshee for one of their hot beef sandwiches, on our day off we went there and what a feast that was for a very reasonable cost. I think this hotel was destroyed in a fire but it wasn't just the building that was lost, the information and local knowledge that the people passed on to us in a short time was amazing and we in turn told many of our future guests about it and we never had anyone say that they didn't enjoy their experience.

I can truly say I never envy other people. I never envy other marriages or whatever but I do envy the two of you. You are doing exactly what I would’ve loved to have been able to do in my life. Actually, it started out a lot like that, but it didn’t last. however I loved it while it did. I love your videos. They’re so natural well you may be laughing when I say that but even if they’re not, they certainly come over as natural. since this is August I’m looking at it a bit late.

2 and a half years later...I've found this video. Brings me back 30 years when I lived near Kirkmichael and travelled to Forfar for work each day. Amazing ( in Kirkmichael there was a white Falliw deer that visited us often !)

Glad to know that we aren’t the only ones whose breaks are governed by the size of the missus’ bladder 😂 And clootie dumpling - yum! Haven’t had any of that since our last holiday in Oban about 8 years ago.

Somehow I missed this one and it's absolutely enchanting. That guesthouse could have been a movie set...reminds me of a place I stayed at in Peebles a million years ago. Scotland has some truly magical places to stay...get away from those Travelodges😊
