I’ve been trying to get myself to go to therapy for about 18 years and I’m just so ashamed. How can you tell someone else your deepest thoughts that you’ve been feeling for so many years. I’ve been on antidepressants, and while they help, they don’t fix the problem. All these years later I feel stuck in my life, incapable and worthless. I have no idea where to go from here. Hearing Ed talk about therapy brought tears to my eyes. I’m nearing my breaking point. Will this finally get me to go?

Who is this interviewer? You can so obviously tell he’s not genuinely interested in anything Ed is saying. Small jilted reactions in Ed’s face shows he knows it too and realises he’s taking only to the audience and not the host. What a douche - he comes across as though he thinks superior and intelligent when he’s clearly neither of those things. Just look at his demeanor and the way he’s sitting. Absolute knob jockey 🙄

Great interview and so helpful for so many to hear Ed speak about therapy and how it's helped him. I love him and others who use their platform in such a good and helpful way. So sorry he experienced such a hard time. I just ended therapy for now anyway and it's helped me too. There's no shame in getting help like you would if you had a physical injury or illness and had to see a doctor. I really respect him coming forward including others who do so.
