I would never do all that for a plugin, ilok requirement itself is a deal breaker for just about everything, requiring all the other shit too is absolutely insane to me.

I don’t like the way that VT keeps on ask8ng if you want this plugin or that plugin or this plugin etc…Audio Plugin Deals have started doing the same thing on their purchased plugins before and after the purchase. You should be able to opt out of this marketing!

I bought Atoms yesterday. But it crashes Adobe Live before it is even started. Made a ticket, but no answer till now. I own round abot 40 Plugins, but Atoms is the only one constantly crashing 😞

I’m being a stick in the mud where but I can’t believe that advertising for a Christmas started in October this year before the budget and we hadn’t had bonfire night nor Remembrance Day out of the way. Now we have Black Friday at the beginn8ng of November instead of the last Thursday in November with Black Friday following. I suspect here in the U.K. the hache job that Rachel Reeves did with the economy being there will be no new austerity and filling a black hole that didnt exist and was in eff3ct a shopping list of what she and her party wanted to put through this parliament. I suspect the retailers are trying to get in before the new taxes and start to bite in. The states I suspect it’s because of the presidential Election. Things like this spook retailers and don’t get me on Christmas before Halloween in the shops really! Grumpy Old Git here!

I find the VSL download process to be quite standard these days. Native Instruments, 8Dio, Orchestral Tools, they all have the same whereby you need to install the download portal before downloading the player and then the sample library. But what I do object to is the use of the iLok security system - for a free plugin. What's the point?

I agree bro, it's a big hustle, not fan of theses types of plugins...I get Puncher and it's really good, sounds freat on trap and drill drums... Backs EQ I falled in love, really musical and smooth at sametime...not willing nothing for black friday at the moment, just saving some money to upgrade my headphone that broke and I need a new one asap, cheers!!!

That Synchron Player installation/activation is so insanely complicated, I ended up uninstalling all of it. They need to streamline and optimize their ####.

No lie the concept of ilok for free plugins is such a stupid concept. Like whats the point of having it for free or any peice if you haveto get a qhile ilok license for it. Kinda defeats the purpose.
Id love a Aas sound pack for aas player. They're underated in my opinion and i highly recommend it

About plugin install hassle. Some are so complicated. I even think Kontakt is a bit too complicated. Of the big players, I think I like the Ujam setup the best. It's an multi plugin installer for all their stuff but never get in the way and I have never had problems with it. Having a complicated process scare people away and the developer will not earn as much. A good installation UX is a win - win.

babyaudio for a sponsor is a good grab. They are one of the good ones imo. I had some technical issues with one of their plugins a while back and they went way above and beyond to make everything right for me and make sure i was good to go and had a resolution. I have not had that kind of customer support from many of the others I have reached out to. Audio Modern, for instance, who i have purchased just about everything they ever released from, left me high and dry on freezr when it was causing crashes. they just stopped responding, even when i followed up after a month of silence, i got nothing. Both situations were happening at the same time, and baby audio really made me feel that as a customer, my satisfaction was important. It was polar opposite experiences.

So now i take any chance i can to sing baby audio's praises. they make good stuff, that sounds great, and their customer service, at least in my experience, is top notch. Only other companies i can say that about are sugar bytes and u-he.

Also atoms is a great plugin if you are looking for a really unique sound for ambient music and also can be great for some unique bass sounds for other types of music.

Maybe i need babyaudio to sponsor me lol
