There is a much better way to remove the pilot bearing using hydraulic pressure. Instead of grease use wet shredded newspaper. I have successfully used this method numerous times. The wet compressed newspaper is much easier to clean up.

Chris, I removed the 6 bolts holding the pressure plate in, and it’s NOT coming off. I’ve been using a flat head, crow bar, and some WD40 and it has barely budged at all, but it seems like one edge is starting to come off. Next step is going at it with a blow torch. Any tips on dealing with this?
