New york has Ellis island (to welcome new immigrants) , jakarta has onrust island (to welcome new immigrants/workers from Europe)

About the Sate you have been eaten, the first one is Padang style (Sate Padang) it uses Padang sauce sometimes it has spicy taste, the second one is most typical sate in Indonesia with peanut sauce it has more sweet taste then the Padang one

if you're still in jakarta, you must try the first and only bullet train in south east asia. The route goes from jakarta to bandung, and from bandung you can take the regular train to other cities in java
