This is an OpenCV C++ course that will teach you everything you need to know to get started. This course is based on my previous OpenCV Python course that now has more than a million views and 98.8% positive feedback. Like before we are going to learn the basics that include Processing images videos webcams and finding shapes colors, humans, and vehicle number plates. We will also have 3 example projects that will cover all the basics we have learned. C++ is an excellent language for implementation and creating real-world products. so having this advanced computer vision skill on your CV will really make it stand out from the competition. And Don't worry if you are a beginner we will go step by step right from the installation up to creating exciting projects, And our main focus will be practical implementation so we will skip all the boring theory stuff.

I'm grateful that I have studied Computer Vision and Image processing subject in Post graduation. Now this video is very relatable, as I know the theory behind filters & other processing techniques.

lmfao you really have to use random women for the thumbnail of your videos? That's weird & sad. If they clicked on it because of the good looking woman - the person will most likely end up immediately closing the video once they realize she's not actually in the video. Honestly it's pointless and misleading.

Thank you for this. It is helpful. I'm willing to bet the Python version is a smoother experience. You are very obviously a Python programmer :)
Seem to have no rime or reason to declaring variables globally or locally. Just seem to decide on the fly, so I suspect it's because you got snippets of code from different places. Also, even with such little code, there are LOTS of problems. CPP demands a lot more thought that Python, and you have to clean up after your self. Again, doesn't matter so much here, but it's best to not learn bad habits early, so that you won't have to break them later.
Last criticism: If you notice your self saying "and then we type..." and "now we will put..." you are probably doing less of a course and more of a cookbook.
Ok Last one: It's much easier for people to understand if you create the variables you are going to use just before you use them. You say, "Ok, we are going to need 4 integers to define our minBlah and max Blah blah" and then you can stay on point when you are discussing the actual method and not have to skip around. This is even more important for anyone who is following along.
And finally, a Visual Studio tip. You can hover a function and see its definition, which includes its return type. Eg. hover over arcLength and you will see it returns a double.

Ive been learning C++ for 7 years now, and this is the first time I saw anyone use "Exclude from project". All I did was comment, and it reached to thousands of lines of codes lol

The tutorial is on point, informative and tackles everything I'll wish I know RE: OpenCV
