How to Easily Unlock Mastery Skins - Risk of Rain 2

The whole "kill the final boss on the harfest difficult or end your run by obliterating on the highest difficult" is stupid,especially with how hard enemies can be to kill with some survivors,when I play bandit I can almost NEVER hit the "blind" (mile high quotation marks) enemies because they go like "left then right then left then right and bob and weave"

I did this in like 40 minutes

You do not get enough items in 20 minutes. It takes over an hour to get decent amount, oh and swarm does not help with getting more items.

After 30 seconds you should have dropped “easily” from the thumbnail 😝. Collecting rare items THEN spending at least another hour is already rough for some players. I’m a week in, and I’m only missing Acrid and The Captain, and I never run into these items. I play on Switch and have a lot to learn still though. I went from dying instantly to looping for fun and I almost killed Mithrix on HAHAHAHA difficulty (Drizzle), but I choked on the last couple hits the second round lol. I hated Roguelike games. I hated Risk of Rain. I took a chance on this one for $8.99 and went from “meh” to “I’m fucking obsessed”. I am off work today, going to shoot for Acrid and some Survivor skins. 🤘🏻❤️

Hey man, i have a question: You need to beat it in the hardest difficulty? Because i already beated the game two times with the bandit in normal mode i never his mastery skin

Me here, if your watching this now and you obviously find that things have changed, remember that you can turn off the Survivors of the Void DLC, this helps you focus on getting normal but still good gear instead of stacking out your void gear, and it will prevent a lot of the new annoying enemies from spawning.

you dont need the swarms artifact

it doesnt double the loot when paired with sacrifice, just doubles the enemies aka making it harder
if you want to learn more i think there is more about it on the wiki and if not i believe woolie explains it

so just command and sacrifice works

We beat the game with survivors and never got the skins. So now we gotta do this

Ive got better method. Use same artifacts and on the first stage collect at least 1 razor wire, and as much hp regen(fungus works best) as you can get. Also you need to find and buy bazzar for 1 lunar coin(blue portal). Then you go to void fields, you activate the first bubble and exit the bubble. You will get constant dmg from enviroment which you can easily outheal, and razor wire will kill all mobs. The mobs will spawn as long as you don't finish loading the bubble (=Infinite Items). Also the timer and difficulty scaling is stopped while you are in void fields. At the final bubble you get legendary item. Enjoy the cheese

I also recommend the Artifact of Kin and trying to get the Beetles on round 1, it makes it so much easier

To anyone that is struggling with having the fast computer part, turn down your texture quality and set the fps limit to unlimited. The game won't look very good, but I found that my fps was boosting a lot.

As of July 3rd 2021, this still works great!
I tried it as Bandit and, while it took an hour and a half, it was still easy to do. I ended up with 35 teddy bears by the end.

So here's what i did to do a OP monsoon run: speedrun the first teleporter after getting newt alter, and then farm the acrid mission while also farming purities

Fun fact about this: Artifact of command and swarms aren't compatible together. The "double" of the enemy that spawns has a 0% chance to drop an item. If you got a lot of items it was all RNG.
You may as well turn off artifact of swarms unless you want to crash your computer

a bit of a critique before you decide to do this, 1. try to unlock as many items as possible in the log book or even all of them if you have enough time, then work on getting the artifacts, 2. the items you should focus on for damage are lens maker glasses and crowbars/armor piercing rounds, for survivability, repulsion armor plates are only useful on the first 3 stages, its better to just use those stack for more tougher times for the total negation rather than just a bit of reduction

This doesn’t work for me sadly, the tougher times reduction plate combo isn’t enough to help me when I spawn in the middle of 10 brass contraptions and a elder lemurian

Very nice video, I like the use of Acrid. With the new patch I usually get by from massing equipment and having it autocast, Works well with rockets, royal capacitor, and sawblades.

You cannot be one shot killed because the one shot protection in game, so the enemies on stage 8 are less threatening than you think
