ОтветитьYou know, a whisky consumed responsibly boosts your intellectual thinking. I have no theory or a proof but I think good Humans deserve a little good time. Never level them as alcoholics and such....because alcohol consumption has produced some of the most brightest minds on this Planet. Be kind, be you but never forget that you are a son or daughter of our Planet Earth. Be you, be kind but never forget to say, hi always.
ОтветитьMake a brandy Manhattan
ОтветитьI don't think using Ardbeg 10 yo is good idea
ОтветитьI'm glad he grabbed that rye bourbon is a drink best served neat if I say so myself
ОтветитьNo whiskey sour? 💔
Ответить🍸🍸🍸
ОтветитьWhiskey sour?
ОтветитьPlease stop putting orange juice in your old fashioned, or at least stop telling people it’s correct. Please, it hurts my soul! (Also a manhattan is served up in a coup glass)
ОтветитьDad must have been in the military “stand fast”!
ОтветитьHow about disaronno any good drink made from this
ОтветитьThat Manhattan looked fantastic... and thank you for serving it on a rock... not sure why buy I feel so pretensious when they deliver one to me and it's served up...
ОтветитьMy bad jr !!!! Here to listen to Mr Johnny today cheers 🍻 😮
ОтветитьAlso surprised the Sidecar was not on this list. I used to be a Mint Julip guy but if you muddle mint into a Bourbon Sidecar. OMG, heaven!
ОтветитьFor me, #1 is the Black Manhattan (with Amaro instead of Vermouth), with chocolate and orange bitters. Just not a sweet Vermouth fan generally, unless it's REALLY REALLY good vermouth.
For those that like Old Fashioneds.. how to make the proper modern Old Fashioned is of course an age old debate. These days, with ice, the preferred method is with syrup instead of sugar cubes.. to get a more even sweetness, and only a twist of an orange peel on top. The old fashioned Johnny Sr. makes is called the "mid century old fashioned", which many also still prefer (but not myself).
can you guys do a video on your pour technique
ОтветитьHave you guys ever done Aussie tries or spirits?
ОтветитьCould use some refining on your stirring. With how active the ice is, you might as well put your cocktails in a shaker.
ОтветитьI gotta use a jigger for consistency. Drives me nuts watching guess-timate pours.
ОтветитьPlease use a jigger.. you’re drinks will taste better.
Once you get good and have your own count with a jigger, you can kick the jigger and only use a pour spout..
I bet your cocktails are fantastic cause they’re strong as hell but there’s no way they taste as they should. You over pour tremendously, use a jigger and respect the craft as I know you two do.

….Cool….
ОтветитьLove how he ignored u when u asked why do u like the rye over bourbon lol
ОтветитьOld fashioned is favorite
ОтветитьIs al sour basically a mint julep, with citrus juice and without the mint 🤷🏼♂️
ОтветитьIs there a place we can get a list (links included) of all the essentials we need to make these drinks?
ОтветитьI wish men would dress up again. I'm over this disheveled look that's popular these days.
Ответить#1 use a jigger; Manhattan proportions are key, #2 maraschino cherry, not orange rind, #3 serve up into chilled glass; no ice, #4 more bitters (two strong dashes)
ОтветитьHey guys, what do you recommend for a bourbon “old fashion kit” for my travel bag?
ОтветитьI’m a little late on the comment, but I wanted to say the father son duo is awesome! One little correction..you made comment who says stand fast. If you served in the military you would hear stand fast on a daily basis! Keep up the great videos
ОтветитьI love how he just gets a new bottle instead of a corkscrew
Ответитьive found that pouring over the ice dilutes the drink ehy not just chill the glass
ОтветитьWas anyone craving a whiskey cocktail and came right to theses guys for it?
