The top on the SL would not have opened for you because you put that slider back up so the switches on it are open.
They probably want to much for it with that little bit of damage even with all the miles.

It is not just the structural damage, on the big Mercedes, that will be expensive to repair, but all of the sensors and cameras in and around the rear bumper. They are there for the people who are too stupid and/or lazy to turn and look behind when they are reversing.

With even the slightest bit of structural damage to the rear, the retractable hardtop will not operate correctly.

The SL looks like an easy fix a porta power inside that trunk should pop it right back. As long as the quarters are not kinked. But even a porta power might pop the kinks. .

305 hp on the challenger, you could double that with a turbo or pro charger. After that sell the engine to get a bigger engine

My Neighbour has a 2007 SL55, he was having suspension problems and Mercedes ended up fixing it for free . Some long service plan they have.

All these Cars that poor ppl could use and they sit waiting away instead of being fixed up and donated

hey Mike before you change parts on the rat wagon you should definitely check all the wiring from the computer to the transmission 💯💯💯 . could have been a wire that was about to snap in half . could have been holding on by only a few strands of coper and from the engine rocking it finally broke . take some time and go over those wires .

That S class is well optioned to boot. Very nice. Even has the night vision. Luxury package with the diamond pleating. Double pane glass….

That SL trunk is jacked. Lines are way off.
