I think sunset’s parents are dead and princess celesta adopted her because maybe just maybe her parents got killed by some kind of supernatural monster and before they got killed they left her with one of the most powerful creatures in their world the goddess of the sun the ruler of equestria celesta it’s a theory but I’m shore sunset would be heartbroken if she found out this is true.

There is nothing that denies this Theory from being true. It’s extremely possible for sunset, shimmer, and Sunburst to be siblings.
