I'm using Ms. Word for Mac 2011. If any of you happens to be a Mac user or any of you found it didn't work on you, here's to make it works:
1. Right click on the shape, select 'Format AutoShape'.
2. On 'Color and Lines' tab, click on 'Fill - Color', there should be 'More Colors...' and 'Fill Effects...' option. Click on 'Fill Effects'.
3. Click on 'Picture', then 'Select Picture...'. Then browse the picture you wish to add, and click 'Insert'.

There you have it. Hope it works too :)
