Which Rolex Submariner is best, Kermit or Hulk?

I love my Kermit and walked in to a shop and bought it in 2010 brand new. When you could do. I even got a discount. I paid cash 3.5k.

16610LV is just ugly, just like all pre-ceramic submariners (sorry but they are and they bracelet and claps is garbage), 116610LV has the ugliest case ever, those lugs and the case is disgusting, but the green ceramic bezel and dial are amazing! 126610LV, they finally fixed the case and the watch is now perfect! Green bezel and black dial are very beautiful combo, and I love it. However, if they would make 126610LV hulk that would be it, the best watch ever, but they'll never do that unfortunately, you can see that Rolex is run by bunch of clowns without any fiduciary duty towards shareholder (non-existent) and towards clients (they have zero control over their distribution, just bunch of shady ADs).

la seule...kermit flat-four...produite pendant 2 ans référence 16610 et aussi 16610 v pourl les 50 ans de la Sub...il y a 3 détails sur le cadran et la couronne qui la caractérise..et le bracelet. je ne parle pas anglais.. je pense que cet expert vous les a communiqué ! ( le 4 sur la couronne , le O de Rolex, plutot aplatti, le r de oyster alligné sous le R de Rolex, et le swiss made qui déborde sur les index des minutes à 32 et 28 minutes..bon j'éspére ne pas vous avoir " gonflés" avec ces détails mais ont ne les trouves pas souvent et cela évite de confondre cette piéce rare avec la Hulke bien plus repandue..mais tout aussi désirable..

Great content Adrian The Rolex Submariner probably is the most iconic Watch in the world, hard to say which one is the nicest 👍🏼 one because those 3 watches are great time pieces, if I have to choose one will be the 50th Anniversary is the classic submariner I think the Maxi dial and the green aluminum bezel make this sub incredible attractive

Hulk is by far the most interesting and dynamic dial. You can keep your boring black dials that never play with the light :)

In late May I purchased the Starbucks new from my AD caliber 3235 then this week I get a call for the new Kermit V2 May-June 2023 release caLiber 3235 bth new and the same but Kermit V2 has a lighter green ceramic bezel. Lucky me.

If the Submariner and Seamaster were the same price I'd still take the Seamaster 🤷‍♂️

Hulk because it was my first luxury watch and my wife (who knows nothing about watches but neither did I really when I bought it) picked it out because she loved the color and it stood out. That was 2013, and years later it's still my favorite in my collection for sentimental reasons. Who knew it would become a collector's piece? Lucky me.

Absolutely agree on the analysis. People hyped up Hulk too much, I personally never thought it as much classy as the Kermits. The new Kermit (Or the Starbucks, I think it is more accurate to describe the color) is the most beautiful of them all, and to complement that with the upgraded movement, it's a clear winner.

Maybe it is because I have the Hulk but it's the blockier 40mm oyster case I like the most.

Bought the new kermit then sold it. It was boring and biggish (41).
Now, l decided to go for the hulk and got it and it wears and looks beautifully on 6.25 inch wrist.

Was the Starbucks or the Hulk released for any other anniversary, such as the 60th anniversary ?!

I don’t get the appeal of a green watch, although they have grown on me a little, but if I got one, it would be the Hulk. The green dial is the best feature of all of them. I’d just get a Harrods Tudor instead of the Kermit.

True story, my AD offered me a Hulk at a discount from MSRP in 2014, but I thought “who would want a green watch?” And waited to buy a black sub. Pretty big mistake in hindsight.

Really don't like the ceramic kermit. The aluminium looks way better and pops more with bezel.

My fave is the the HULK, because that is what I have :).

Circling back to this video 2 years later and honestly it has aged very well! With the continued difficulty of obtaining a new Kermit (Starbucks or whatever you call it) and the crazy pricing of the Hulk (which I personally prefer just for the all green dial...to each there own, right!?!). The 16610LV original Kermit seems like its coming in as the goto for for anyone wanting an obtainable Green Rolex. Pricing, while no where near MSRP, isn't unreasonable and it's obviously the "original". It also has a charm of no ceramic on the bezel and wears smaller than the 126610LV, which is the direction the watch market is trending now. I personally find green easy to wear and combine that with a black dial, this is an easy daily.

Every hype will be corrected, the money will flow to more valuable assets like stock/real-estate because their "cycle" is shorter, back in 2012 no one pays extra for a Rolex, only at buy msrp, it takes 10 years for Rolex to be at peak (x2, x3) but good stocks/real-estate can do that in a shorter period. If you buy and wear it then it's a great accessory at msrp and you won't care about the price or the hype afterward.

Skip all these and buy the Citizens dive pro master Hulk and save yourself a Ton of money, what Rolex is doing to the watch market is absolutely Disgusting .

The new Kermit...the Hulk imho is a one trick pony, I'm a big, slightly jacked gym goer, I could wear it in summer with a tight gym show off tee shirt. But that's it.
For me, the original Kermit is caught somewhere between classic sub and modern sub and misses both marks. And if I had an aluminium bezel sub it'd be a black one.
