The sword feels too small for even one hand to hold. I feel like it should be at least a good third bigger. Love the series, can't wait for the next.

Matt, I just finished the last video in this series (so far!). It is all amazing and inspiring. I look forward to seeing more and am considering getting involved at some level as a patron. Well done, brother!

A big issue I have with the story is its assumption that a thousand year old first doctor will be extremely good at their craft while forgetting that the reason a modern doctor in a field can get so good at their craft in their 30 years is because they are the current in a line of professionals stretching back millenia. How good is a craftsman between the invention of bronze and a thousand years later? that should give an idea what someone working alone, might actually accomplish. Learning from the watchers will have to do alot of lifting to justify this.

I wonder if Cain's children all know a bit of farming, or conversely if they all despise farming since it was the thing their father loved and was cursed to never do again.

Great job I was just watching this video twice and I thought how cool it would be if he had a pet Rhino looking animal that would compliment that colour that himself and his helper cover there body and the Rhino could have a sort of deform that he rebuild for tool purposes

The idea of Tubal smiling and praising a new apprentice’s work doesn’t feel out of place given his kind smirk underneath his mask.

The graphite skin is "chef's kiss" that perfect alien element that ties it all together. This is a man who is in love with the craft, and as it is the age of excess so great it had to be washed away to start over, of course it's become a practically erotic element of his court and culture.

He seems to bear an artist's madness. The obsessive artistry of someone who cannot stop tinkering, picking, and making, and who has been forged through the crucible of discovery into someone who makes beauty and death, and who is aware of his own imperfections, but feels he can improve upon them. You can tell, that if he could, he would make flesh into iron and metal, and see it as an improvement.

This looks amazing but wouldn't a metal mask and apron heat up rapidly in the forge and burn his skin? Or are these ceremonial garb for wearing outside the forge?

Where are his century braces?

One small possible contradiction: is he wearing the mask while smithing, or is it ceremonial like the fist hammer? If during smithing, idk if I've ever seen such a thing outside of welding or dangerous materials, BUT also, if he wears a mask, would he have the years of scars?

Love every part of the design aside from the sword. Why on earth would the first blacksmith make a sword so wrong. The downswept points near the handle are deeply problematic and would make the sword practically useless because every time it is swung it would cut or stab the user.

So, are all the nephilim man-eaters?

I’m surprised that his forge wasn’t one of the first things you drew after him. Being the first blacksmith he would have invented the metallurgy forge also. As artistic as his works are it would have a lot of time and effort poured into it. I’m curious what someone’s take would be on something like that when they’ve never seen a reference for before creating it.

I really love this series, and I always get excited whenever there's a new episode, but I'm curious what more of the female characters in this world would look like! It does feel a bit like the women designs so far exist to look pretty, which isn't a bad thing, but I'm wondering if that would be expanded on? The placement of women in these societies could be really interesting to explore considering they likely still exist in the context of Eve being made from the rib of Adam, and also the fact that she was the one to first eat the apple. Perhaps that action had repercussions for how women were treated? That could explain why so far most of the women shown seem to exist in a subservient "court of the strong man" role. And then, to contrast that while also making a point of the subservient expectation placed on them, there could be a group of women doing everything to rebel against it. Which, I think, would also would be fitting in this world's consistent "I am my own god" character focus. Plus... I think a lot of people would want to see some women as big strong and bulky as the men

You said the watchers prefer this mans craftsmanship over their own. Aren't they far more ancient and have an indept understanding of creation. Wouldn't anything they make far surpass him. It just seems odd to me.

I'm not big on biblical lore, so I'm not sure if this concept has enough backing it up, but I'd love to see a sort of "master butcher character," I feel like a person who spent centuries perfecting how to deconstruct a body down to its basest elements would be a pretty terrifying adversary, and I think there's a lot of potential for some really cool character design.

the one normal man that could cause a Nephilim to flee. he may not be able to truly defeat such icons, but the battle would be far too terrible for any Nephilim to willingly compete

Tubal cain is the thinking ego

Wouldn't he be a little more "racist" towards nephilim? since they are the offsprings of fallen Angels and his sisters, who i don't think had much of a say in the relationship.
Me may also hold a grudge against Angels and God for exiling his family and marking his great grandpa.
I always imagined Tubal-Cain as a very hateful individual.

With "aging works differently" you mean just that they age slower, or that the last stages of a human lifespan don't end with a weakened, aged body, but for example, having it slowly turn to statue instead?

This is so cool, I can't wait to see what kind of other weapons and maybe even armor that Tubal-Cain is capable of making.
