Sir I had a problem with my tata nano AMT (gnex) by mistake the reverse gear got stuck n I took it to tata authorized workshop but the technical just switched on for 5 seconds lights seen on dashboard n told me he will diagnose n scan but he kept the vehicle5 mts away from workshop then after 20 days moved pushing inside the workshop but as I read the manual it is clearly written that auto car should nt be pushed as Catalitic convertor gets damaged n in course of time other components but I was shocked when the technical consultant phone me my nano AC has become faulty so I asked him that when you inserted key the dashboard was showing lights on the cluster Sir what is your opinion on this subject ?Should I file a suit against the workshop technician. ?

Thanks for this video!

I have a ford econoline e350 year 2013. My car did not move on Drive and something went wrong. I open the transmition cover and I find out that the oil filter was floating. I wonder this is why my car lost power and the gears were not shifting. Any answer will help me to be clear. I am buying a new oil filter because I think the old one felt because I can not be hold in place. Any answer I will be grateful.

Gear change happens according to the engine speed not the car speed.😁

My latest vehicle (GM 2016) has got an automatic transmission (6BNA) and it just looks like what is being described here; did a DiY pan down ATF change including filter 2X years ago at 36K Kms. (instead of 40K Kms/svc manual as oil was going brownish); just replaced transfer case ATF at 42K Kms. - should have done it at the same time as it was getting murky but was misled by the service manual about the transfer case ATF can be changed + 20K Kms. or so later if not used regularly (transfer case).

Manual transmission keeps the cell phone out of the hand. Much safer than the noted “auto xmsn keeps hand on the wheel”. You got an auto xmsn. Cell phone is always in hand with people.

blah blah blah, the first 3 minutes of the video is just bashing manual transmissions like they are worse in every way. In some ways yeah, manuals are worse than automatics, but having full control of everything in your car is a good experience and also fun as hell. More people need to learn and drive manuals, but they are too lazy.

For all your raving about automatic gearboxes, why do all performance drivers still prefer a manual gearbox? Because if you can control the car accurately, you have control. Automatic boxes offer forward thrust control but no rearward. They reduce the tactile control the vehicle has on the surface. Therefore the only way to change between accelerating and decelerating is to apply braking. This upsets the dynamic balance of the vehicle, especially on anything but a straight path. Automatics are not better, they are not safer, they just allow people with a far lower skill and coordination level to pretend they can drive like a real driver 👍😂

Hi , thanks so much for the video , I have a question and hope to get an answer regarding my transmission (2014 cla 250) .the question is about the transmission oil , is the transmission oil shared with the transmission electronic part oil ? I was told that the electronic part has its own oil and SEALED (which mean if metal shavings found in the transmission oil doesn’t mean that the metal shavings can get into the electronic part ). My transmission is bad and want to replace it with a used one , I’m wondering if I have to buy the electronic part separately or no , note that no lights at all in my dashboard . Thank you!

Okay. So a question.
The car suddenly didn't go forward.(like neutral) But had reverse and Park.

So disconnecting the cable at the brain box . It then clunks into all gears. (it's jackup on stands so the solid clunk could be because it's in the air).

"The wear of the automatic gearbox in urban environments is much less than in manual gearboxes" Not really.. That completely depends on skill of the manual gearbox driver.

I like your 3d model of the automatic. The only complaint is during the diagnosis you said look for smell of antifreeze. I feel like it could of also have been a typo or whatnot, because antifreeze extracts heat from the engine. There were some minor typos like for the word standard at some moments. great basic breakdown of the valve guide

About the first advantage that you have mentioned in the beginning of the video that automatic transmissions reduces the risk of dispersion
it's never true for me because the automatic transmission is always faster in the beginning of launch and this increases the risk of sudden collisions
