Although Mid English I can see some of the same things going on in our lives today
ОтветитьI think the Casa Bonita episode of South Park was heavily inspired by the Miller's Tale.
ОтветитьWTF
ОтветитьThis is the Panchatantra of English language
ОтветитьThis is my go-to book when things in real life get challenging. So much fun. 😊
ОтветитьChaucer was never meant to be literature it was meant to be hilarious and irreverent
ОтветитьNope
ОтветитьCan you please do video about literary criticism
Ответитьmanciple, not “mancible”
ОтветитьOh so he wrote a choose your own adventure novel how nice
ОтветитьDeh good video
ОтветитьI would love to see you give this treatment to 'the curious incident of the dog in the night-time'. The way the book is written alone will make for some great visuals.
ОтветитьIt just like most D&D sessions i been on , start off in a inn , on a quest for relics , and fighting bandits and telling back stories
ОтветитьYou left out the antisemitism, but hen everybody was antisemitic in Chaucer's lifetime.
ОтветитьNext time, if you could do The Prince by Macchiavelli, that would be a really nice video to watch.
Ответитьok but you should've mentioned that the tales kept hanging because He died
ОтветитьIf studying can be this interesting i woulve scored full !!!😭
ОтветитьThis introduces Canterbuty tales very clearly and briefly. Can I use this in a middle school English class in South Korea? It'll be a great help to the students. Thanks!
Ответитьjust went to Canterbury today. :)
Ответитьberries and cream
ОтветитьThis makes the book sound so much more interesting than it actually is
ОтветитьThe Miller's Tale is definitely one of the best. I've just finished recording a reading of it in Middle English, and have a reading of the complete General Prologue on my channel that has been well-received, if anyone is interested in hearing the Tales in their original language.

ОтветитьLove the narrator's voice
ОтветитьMy English teacher sent me a link to watch this
ОтветитьI just know that it's a cheap copy of Boccaccio's Decameron and that's good enough for me
ОтветитьAnd hi if my mates see this
ОтветитьWhy miss
ОтветитьAt 1st I thought Ringo Starr was the narrator.
ОтветитьI don't want to be picky, because I enjoyed the video, but it marches almost right up to the point but fails to make it, that the Canterbury Tales is also a library of medieval literary forms. That's kind of important, I've always thought.
ОтветитьI've read them over and over. Great stories
ОтветитьI do not quiet remember a story The Canterbury Tales. With literature being influence. Written works, especially those considered of superior or lasting artistic merit. Take away's of this book class of feudalism.
ОтветитьAppreciate that the illustrator is the same as the troll face quest videogame series
