Should never cook in a tent or food in tents - we had donuts one time and a squirrel chewed hole in tent. Also bears are a big reason not to cook or food in tent
Bears can rip doors off of cars and RVs - its a fact
If you ever camp in Yosemite and Sequoia they warn you to not even wear the clothes you cooked in to bed or in tent. They have heavy steel bear boxes to store food in
